CAn anyone tell me which beach you can stand on and watch the fireworks? How do you get there - staying at ASMo. I understand that the Polynesian is the hotel, do they mind non guests (but wdw guests) using their beach?

You've ask a heated question ;)

Technically, the beach is reserved for resort guests, and there are signs that state that. The belief being that people pay big bucks to stay at Poly so they can enjoy the beach, and it won't be anything to enjoy it busloads of people bombard it each night to get a view. If you are a guest of the resort eating a meal, I think it's different. Say, you eat at Ohanas, and then head to the beach to watch.

I don't think anyones been carded for a roomkey like at the resort pools, BUT, if it gets to be a constant problem then they might start.

Only way to get there from your hotel is the bus system.
