Fireworks & Fastpass

I'm starting to investigate my fastpass selections as my 30days is approaching.

Now it's just me and my boyfriend (my 6th time his first). We're going in mid August.
Is it worthwhile using fastpass for the evening firework shows? Also which shows/parades can you use it at?
