I'm hoping to get some recommendations from those in the know as to which restaurants at Universal Orlando and Magic Kingdom have the best seats for dining and for viewing fireworks displays.

I have located information online that indicates that Universal Studios will collaborate with Islands of Adventure and CityWalk for their 4th of July fireworks display. The show will begin at approximately 9:50PM. All three locations will be simultaneously setting off an array of fireworks choreographed to America's favorite music.

Walt Disney World will also have special fireworks displays to celebrate the 4th with the Magic Kingdom presenting Fantasy in the Sky at 9:00pm.

I am trying to decide where to spend my evening as my family and I will be spending the whole day at Universal Studios but we're willing to do some park-hopping for the best celebration going. Any help out there? We leave Calgary, Alberta, Canada on June 26th for Orlando.

I'm guessing Lombards should have some kind of view. I caught the fireworks last year outside of ROTM. I thought I had a good view there.

Thanks for the recommend. The location looks great. Do you know if it faces towards Citywalk and Islands of Adventure? If not, do you know of a restaurant that does?

At the 4th of July at Universal, I have never found a bad location for viewing. The absolute best though is on the bridge between Jaws and Back to the Future. You can see IOA, City Walk, and Universal Studios fireworks. There is no restaurant on the bridge though. Disney usually outdoes Universal when it comes to fireworks shows except for the 4th of July. Universal has better fireworks on the 4th than Disney. My favorites on the 4th are Universal with Epcot in a close second.

Thank you for your help :) I have made tentative plans to have a later dinner at Lombard's if we choose to stay at Universal or we may go the the Magic Kingdom and eat at the Tomorrow Land Terrace Noodle Shop (if it has re-opened) and take in the view from there. This is all based on crowds, heat and level of exhaustion :)
