Was going to book the 4th of July fireworks cruise which wasn't showing up online. Turns out these specific days are considered a different type of cruise instead of the normal one. So instead of being around $450-$500 (before discounts) you end up around $950.

We passed on it but wanted to call it out for future people looking up information.

I would suspect this also applies to Christmas and Thanksgiving as well but I could be wrong on that. I do know it applies to 4th of July for both Epcot and Magic Kingdom.

I was hoping to book the Epcot cruise July 4. I saw on a different forum that someone called and they were told the price is for July 4 and New Year’s Eve. We aren’t going to the parks this trip so the fireworks cruises were a good option. For over $900, I would just buy park tickets.

Ya I called over the weekend but just remembered I should post here.

$900 is crazy but they already sold 4 of the 5 Epcot boats essentially at 60+8/9 days so they will get the couple groups dropping the cash.

I called again today and the cast member told me i wasn’t fast enough to book and the cruises are all sold out. What is going on? How could one say there won’t be any cruises and the next day they are all booked?

Likely your first CM did not have a clue or they really meant that there were no more available times for the 4th. I would not expect any to be available this close to July 4th. Bookings opened back near May 4th or earlier.

Unfortunately but true if you ask the same question to 3 CMs, you may get 3 different answers.

This excursion, especially on July 4th would likely have sold out very quickly after opening fir reservations at midnight, 60 days in advance.
