Fireworks at Poly

Hi all!

Not sure if this questions is appropriate for the Resorts forum or Attractions and Strategies....I'm going to give it a go here.....

June 23rd (busy season), my family of 4 has dinner reservations at 1900 Park Fare. We do not have tickets for the park this night (it is our check in night, we are touring parks the following day). Are we able to watch the fireworks from the Poly Beach if we took the monorail after dinner over there? Or even the GF - I hear you can get a good view from there as well.

Does the GF pipe in the Wishes music like Poly does?

You can watch Wishes from the boat dock or in front of Gasparilla's Grille at the GF. If you take the monorail to the Poly technically you are not supposed to use the beach unless you are staying there. Sometimes MB are checked but many times they are not. I believe that the boat dock and another beach between the Poly and the GF are free to anyone to use? perhaps someone else will know for sure.

personally, if I were having dinner at the GF, I would watch the fireworks from in front of the Gasparilla Grille. You can sit on a chair and watch from the deck. It is very nice and as far as I know not a problem for non resort guests.

I do not think that they pipe the music in there, however, unless there is an event going on. In that case the area is kept reserved for the group involved.

You will love the interaction at dinner at 1900 Park Fare! Hilarious!

We will be there at this time and staying at the Poly. It is boarding busy time. However, in addition to the PP, you can walk from the GF to the Poly or take the boat. Boat comes from MK to GF to Poly and then back to MK. The monorail would go to MK, then CR, TTC, then Poly.

If you choose the Poly then take the resort launch from the GF dock near Narcoosee's. It's a five minute ride vs at least 15 min by monorail. The Poly beach is only blocked off at heavy times like Christmas and Fourth of July and then not always.

You can also get a good view at GF at the launch dock and near Narcoosee's.
