Fireworks at 'Ohana TIPS

So - I have an 8:15pm ressie at 'Ohana! Yay!

1) How do I add an anniversary AND birthday to an ADR? Call?

2) Best way to get a window seat? Check in earlier? Put it on the request when I call to add the birthday/anniversary?

3) Any other tips?!

Yes, call to add your celebrations.

I have celebrated my birthday or anniversary at 'Ohana several times and a window seat has been 50/50. Don't believe you can request a window table on the phone and, in my experience, you cannot request a window table. (Not that my experience is the definitive answer, mind you). What time are the fireworks that night? If they are at 9 pm, there is slim to no chance because people will be parked at those tables and won't leave. If fireworks are at 10, you have a better chance and, yes, ask when you check in, just in case.

I think fireworks view from 'Ohana is overly hyped, personally, although I enjoy eating there very much for other reasons. Very few tables have a stellar view. I prefer the view from the beach.

You may get to see Wishes, but I would not choose 'Ohana and plan on this. There ally are very few tables with that view, and because this is such a popular restaurant, if you request one, you may have a very long wait.

As PP said, there are literally like 2-3 tables that are by the window, so your chances are....well, you do the math.
That being said, 2 out of the 3 times we have been there, we have been at a window seat. But, we didn't request it, it was pure luck.

Eh, expected! I want a quiet corner so I hope I can get that - it's our first night in disney so we really are going for the food hahaha - I was at Ohana in June and went around primetime dinner and we sat in the aisle way where kids were playing all around our table. I was ubber upset bc one kid kicked me in the leg! anyways - we will see wishes 4 times already on the trip - plus this is my 3rd time at disney this year. We will be okay with one night of no wishes haha - thanks everyone!
