Fireworks at MK question

I was just wondering if someone could tell me when the fireworks begin at MK? Do they have fireworks every evening?

I am going there in May and would like to make reservations at the California Grill and would like to know when would be a good time. Thanks!

Yes, there are fire works every night, but Im not sure , but I think Wishes is at 10 pm

Yes they do have Fireworks everynight. Wishes is nightly at 10pm. Have fun in May we are going in June!!

The time changes. Sometimes even throughout the week... and definitely with the seasons (as it gets dark later and earlier.)
Wishes is not necessarily performed even every night (outside of the busiest times of the year.)

So saying Wishes is "at 10" can be inaccurate.
(You have to remember that the MK closes much earlier at certain times of the year.)

Go to the official Disney World Website and check the calendar for each park for the times for each day's scheduled activities.

Then choose the month you are going. Then click on the day (date) and it will show you the show times.

I agree with Robo. Good tips. The times do change, and Disney won't tell you much this far out. If I were to guess though, I say they will almost certainly have it on a Saturday night.

An old expression comes to mind...I used to have a friend who racoon hunted. He used to say he was going out to hunt at around "dark o'clock."
I'd say the fireworks start sometime after 'dark o'clock.'

WIshes is typically after the evening parade. If there are two parades scheduled, they usually happen between the two. For example, the parade is at 7:00, Wishes would be around 8:30. If there are two parades (7 and 10:30), then wishes would be around 9. Disney is releasing their schedules now for 6 months at a time. You should be able to get an idea of when Wishes happens based on the current schedule posted.

This is particularly true with the start-time of Fantasmic! (at least the first one of the night, if there are two shows).

The schedule for Wishes in May is as follows. Remember that these times are subject to change by Disney:

May 1,4,7,8,11,13,15,18,20-31 -- 10:00 p.m.
May 2,3,9,10,12,14,16,17,19 -- 9:00 p.m.
