So many (including myself) have been asking about firworks on the fourth in Port Canaveral (Cocoa Beach). Here's what I found out from the local chamber (321-459-2200).
Get the paper on Friday morning from your hotel for a complete listing found in the TGIF section. Shephards Park at Ron Jon's (9PM) and Cocoa Village (festivities begin at 3 PM) are some of the locations. Friday there are many scheduled activities throughout the day in several locations, including a boat parade. They are asking for no personal fireworks at Shephards Park for the safety of others. The fireworks will be set off over the water from a barge.
