July 2nd will be one of our MK days

We have a dinner at Ohana at 6:40 pm. (The schedule I found said that Wishes is at 8 pm that evening.)

We are not firework people and I wouldn't go back to the park to just watch fireworks, but is it possible that we could see them from the beach at the Poly after dinner?

We watched 10 pm fireworks last June from the beach at Poly and they were great! It was the first or second night that the fireworks were shot off from throughout the park (instead of just near the castle) and it was better than being in the park because we could see everything. I'm not sure how well you'll be able to see them at 8pm if it isn't dark through. Maybe others can comment on earlier viewing.

Yes you are allowed to watch them from the beach at the Poly.

My only concern is with a 6:40 ressie you may not be done with dinner to get down to the beach.
While Ohana is off the hook good, sometimes the service can be slow. (I say sometimes, because you never know)
Usually dinner there takes us an hour and a half and it is just DH and I. Other places we are in and out in an hour.

Have a good trip!!

There are 4 to 5 tables at ohana with fireworks viewing. I know because the two times we been there we had the great luck to be sited on those tables. the viewing is spectacular. you can try and ask for a table with fireworks viewing. maybe you can be lucky.

if you cant get those seat then yes you can go to the beach and watch them from there. I think the view from the poly is better that the view for california grill.
