DBF always tries to make me use it. We have it and I like it. It is more secure than Explorer he says. He is a computer guy, both professionally and off duty.

I used to like IE, but my computer geek brother said to use Firefox, and when IE started giving me problems I switched. I have never missed IE! I love Firefox, and it runs so much more smoothly than IE and doesn't use all the resources that IE does. Definitely switch to Firefox!

I have been using firefox for quite a while. All the computer IT guys at work and my boyfriend who is also a computer guy say it's much better then explorer! The only problems I have run into is that some of the survey sites I do don't take firefox. I love it!

I use Firefox. However, folks shouldn't be lulled into a false sense of security regarding Firefox. It's actually less secure than Microsoft Internet Explorer. Its saving grace is that so few people use it that it is must less likely to be the target of an expoit. However, overall, it's considered to be a wash (i.e., the usability advantages of Firefox of Microsoft Internet Explorer just barely covering the additional exposure to exploits).

I never liked Internet Exploder, prefered Netscape. Love Firefox and I've been using it for a while.

Like Bicker said, it's not completely safe. We use nod32 on all our computers, along with spybot and ad aware.

I love Firefox. I have no idea if you can do this on IE, but on Firefox, you can "manage" search engines in the taskbar. Google is my main one, of course, but I just have to quick click on the menu to be searching IMDB, Wikipedia, Amazon, Food Network recipes...

I have Firefox and Thunderbird the E-mail program. Love them and I think they are faster and more user friendly.

hate it.
It was more "user"friendly but about 1-2 times a month it would decided to delete all my favorites.
I've been using IE 7 with yahoo optimizer and tool bar for a few months.

There is a downside with Firefox sometimes... Not ALL sites function well in Firefox. The vast majority do, but every once in a while you will find you need IE.

We've been using it for years now. I like the product, as well as their others. My dad switched to their version of Word and likes it better! He won't go back to word now. DH loves firefox and all the other products.

Very true. It does block a lot of sites. We use Firefox primarily, and then IE when and ONLY when Firefox won't work.

I used to use firefox but then every once in a while,it wouldn't recognize me and I'd have to start over. That meant that I lost all of my favorites. It happened 2x and I started over but when it happened again-no way.

One of the neat bits about Firefox is that all my Bookmarks are shared among all three computers I use frequently. I add a Bookmark to one, and automatically all three have the new Bookmark. Very cool.

I have hit a bunch of sites that simply don't work with Firefox, though. 97% of people use IE, so websites don't really need to worry about being compatible with Firefox. The one I have the most problem with is Amazon.com -- that actually suprised me a bit.
