If your default browser is set to Firefox, you may want to change it temporarily before you play Yeti Vision again!

Firefox doesn't seem to know what to do with the file format and so far I haven't been able to get the code because it knows it already "gave" me one. :( I've uninstalled & tried again - but still no go.

So if you want that code....change your browser first!

:furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious:

I'm in the exact same situation. I didn't realize that the Photo coupon wouldn't be supported with FireFox. I also have been unable to either recover the coupon, or get a new one.

I have a feeling I may have to tinker with the registry (don't try this at home kids! ;) ) to remove all trace and then reinstall.

Stupid, stupid, stupid. Disney isn't even affiliated with Microsoft, yet they make these programs that only work with IE, without giving you a second chance to change browsers. :badpc: :badpc: :badpc:

Edit: well before working on the registry, I managed to recover everything except the barcode (It has the number, but not the code) I wonder if Disney could manually enter the code?

why didnt you just try reinstalling adobe acrobat?

mtlhddoc2 - I did, but it already had the plugin for Firefox, so that didn't fix it.

blizzard - I ran regedit after the uninstall & removed everything I could find but I must be missing something. :( As soon as I re-install the game I get the message about having already completed the quest. :( How did you manage to recover the PDF? I haven't been able to find mine yet using the history. I should go check another computer in the house....I'm just incredibly stubbon. LOL Hopefully they aren't using our IP addresses like they do when they ban people!

Did you send a note off to the Black Hole? I had the same thing happen. Yay, me! I can't get VMK to load at all on IE! Haven't been able to use it for over a month now, so FF is all I've been using. According to the canned response from VMK, they are looking into it....
Good luck trying to retrieve your coupon. I have had no luck.

Hi,

It is not a pdf, just an html. What I was able to retrieve (everything but the barcode) was found in f:/Program Files/Disney/YetiVision/photoprize.htm (where f: will be your own default directory - often c:)

I will work more later to attempt to generate a new coupon, however for now I have printed the coupon without the barcode and hopefully they can manually enter the number. :confused3

I'm not about to reconfigure my computer to be more Microsloth compatible, so, VMK can just drive right on thru.

well, then try doing what i do with yeti... clear your Internet cache and cookies and play again and see if that does it

Aeryn if Blizzard deletes all traces of the coupon in her reg wouldn't she be able to get a new coupon?

Mal

I was able to find all the files and piece it together, with the number and barcode, but it isnt easy and requires a bit of technical knowhow... and a half decent photo editing software
