Fire on Disney cruise

I heard a rumor that there was a fire on the Disney Magic cruise line on the east Caribbean trip last week. Aparrently it was under control in a short time , but not before some evacuations.
Has anyone heard this if so did it stop operations.

It did happen. Sounds like it was handled extremely well both during and after the incident. No injuries whatsoever, minimal damage and the ship was able continue without any problems. Here's a link to a first hand passenger account in the St. Petersburg Times as well as a couple of pictures taken by another passenger.
