Hello All

Pete always says on the podcasts that this is the friendliest forum, so please be nice to me for my first question.

My daughter has joined a swimming club and they make them train using fins (short flippers) and kickboard (float).

We are staying at OKW in late August / September and my question is as follows, she is keen to swim some lengths in the morning (before the parks) and wonders if she is allowed to do this in any of the pools onsite?

Thanks for your help

Adam

Welcome!:wizard:

My dd is on the swim team, too. Boy, it's a LOT of work, isn't it, both for the kids and parents! Tomorrow is her last practice, then she breaks for about 6 weeks, and the "season" starts all over again. She trains w/ flippers and boards, too.

I think your best bet would be to have her train at one of the quiet pools. I haven't stayed at OKW, but the quiet pools at the other resorts I've stayed at have generally been "dead".

Thanks for the reply

So all i need to do is find a quiet pool and then sit there watching her (as well as remembering to count how many lengths, times and what stroke she is meant to be doing) ;)

A relaxing holiday then

On the allears OKW info pages the pool hours shown are 9am to 10pm or is this just for the main lifeguarded pool?
