I have just spent the last 3 weeks doing my driver training for my job with the ambulance service. I finished it today & passed :woohoo:

The last 2 days have been driving with Blues & Two's which was nervy & a bt scary at first but great fun, especially when people spot us early on & move making it easier for us to progress the drive.

I can now drive totally different to what I used too & its amazing how little things make a difference.

I have also finally sorted my station out, its not the one I wanted but its closer to me then where they wanted to put me. My transfer has also kicked in now so hoping to move to the station 5 mins away from where I live.

Good news is that I have a week to relax & recover before starying my 1st shifts next weekend which will be nights:headache:

Well done :thumbsup2

Blues and twos driving is fun :)

Claire ;)

Thanks everyone:thumbsup2, just need to chase up one of my references as my Course lead at uni has been ignoring requests for the past year to supply one:mad: Just sums her up really, i'm disgusted with her. Fortunately the service understand & I have asked another tutor to provide one.

I remember doing my driving course for The Police, we went on the skid pan and had a few hairy moments and the first blues & twos run was an incredible experience.

Many congrats on passing your course

Welcome to the emergency services.
