LOVE pinterest. Getting everyone I can hooked on it too. Got loads of ideas for all kinds of things. DD's party was just a cupcake themed party, then a tea party, now a full blown mad hatter/alice themed party complete with a dessert/candy bar, tea, sandwiches, loads of homemade decorations. boy am I tried typing it out.

I have spent the day getting orders caught up and ready. waiting on final word on some rough drafts and hoping to get things ready to be mailed later tonight.

Vicki, prayers and pixie dust to you and your family. My dad had a quad by-pass 2 yrs ago. It's not an easy recovery, but once you get thru it, you feel so much better and have so much more energy that it's worth it.

I luv pinterest, too. So many good ideas out there!

I've finished my titles and started on the lyrics. We have a busy week, but no academic tournaments this weekend, so I'm hoping to get somethings caught up.

I am having a hard time balancing everything right now. Just need to take a step back and rethink my game plan. That and hurry up and get this wedding album out of the way!!! Problem is she wants to help... and thats great its her book, but we have way different thinking, I start at the beginning and work through. She does whatever she feels like and just throws it in. She will be over again today and hopefully we can pull the rest out. Then I can play!!

I am having a hard time balancing everything right now. Just need to take a step back and rethink my game plan. That and hurry up and get this wedding album out of the way!!! Problem is she wants to help... and thats great its her book, but we have way different thinking, I start at the beginning and work through. She does whatever she feels like and just throws it in. I got started on my twinchies this afternoon and thought I'd get one set finished, but I wasn't pleased with the progress reports my two oldest brought home from school this afternoon. After I had finshed having "a little talk" with them, I need to calm down and lower my bp before trying to be crafty. I hope to get back to them after dinner tonight.

Funny, We're having those issues over here too. There was a huge argument on my front porch this morning about whose fault it was they missed the bus. Both- one who wouldn't get out of bed and the other who took to long getting her shoes on and kept saying the bus doesn't come till 940. it comes at 930. I needed a do-over day by that time.

dont get me started on chores and that stuff. I dont know how many times I have to tell them I dont care who put it there I asked you to put it away.

I did a one day trip back in 2004 with two of my mom's group....was heaven, no strollers, backpacks, kiddie rides, bathroom every 30 minutes....oh the memories

Lisa, it better work! I don't think they want to face the consequences if it doesn't. They think I'm being terribly unfair. Their grades aren't really bad, and a lot of their friends have lower grades and never get in trouble with their parents. I just know what my kiddos are cabable of, and I expect them to live up to their potential.

What grade is Megan in? 5th or 6th? That's about the time we started having major issues with managing time and details.

I'd love a moms only disney trip! Sign me up!
