Phil's surgeon has, basically, told him that, despite the fact that the tumour has grown, he doesn't want to operate at the moment.

He's acknowledged that things will get worse but thinks that the benefits of waiting to operate will far outweigh the risks of operating right now

To my mind he hasn't told us anything different to what he said in January but, as a nurse, I made him tell it to Phil 'in plain English'

Our dear friend is here at the moment so I'm going to put Eve to bed, in the hope that Phil will open up to him a little whilst I'm not there Men!
