I thought this worth menthing here since Disney's knuckle scan is often discussed.
This year we bought Frequent Fear Passes for USO Halloween Horror Nights, and have been going once a week for a month.
We also have US PAP's.
For the first time tonight we had our right index fingers scanned (on our PAP entry). And this is not like Disney's stick your fingers in and lightly squeeze knuckle scan.
We each had to press our index fingers once on a small, smooth finger tip size pad, and then again to have it read for entry.
On the way out I asked the team member if they are switching to finger scans. The reply was on multiple day passes.
I am surprised they are going to this. Unless they plan on eliminating having photo passes.
Maybe this is old news to some. But we did not know about it.
DH corrected me. He said it was on our Frequent Fear passes the finger scan was done.
Previously, we had arrived early and we in the parks as HHN guests were being corraled. The other times our tickets were just scanned on hand held scanners. So actually going through the stile with the HHN passes, that is when we had a finger scan done.
