DH and I already celebrated New Year's Eve (at noon with pictures to our adult sons and families) at Applebee's . We had three appetizers so plenty of finger food.
A lovely cheese board with all the extras, charcuterie, caviar with blinis and Crème Fraîche, lemon pepper wet wings (an Atlanta favorite), veggie plate ... and some great vintage Champagne!
shrimp popper eggrolls & 'thanksgiving' eggrolls
dill pickle chips (fried)
pigs in a blanket
artichoke dip if I have enough cream cheese
and whatever odds & ends are still in the freezer /pantry that we didn't get to over Christmas.
We used a gift certificate and grabbed burritos for lunch.
This eve DH is making roast beef, roast carrots, mashed potato and Yorkshire pudding.
I’m going to wait and do the ginger cake tomorrow.
As someone who loves all things Poland, I am intrigued at this, unless you are referring to Zapiekanka? I could see how someone could call that a Polish pizza...and that I do know how to make...

I miss the create your own sampler they had before Covid. It will be too much for just me but I want the variety. I know I will have some leftovers for lunch tomorrow.
