Finding your way around the ship

When you come out of your stateroom look at the carpet. You'll see crossed anchors; one red, one blue. Blue points to the bow (or front) of the ship, red points aft (or the back). I remembered by B for blue and bow, R for Red and Aft (both 3 letters). After that I knew which way to turn depending on where we wanted to go.
