Finding Tinkerbell????????

In 2000, we went to WDW & were able to see Tinkerbelle "fly" during the MK night parade. I mentioned this to a student of mine & she wants to know if this still happens. My kids thought seeing Tink was so cool & if possible I want my student to see it too. Any info???thx

I don't remember seeing Tink fly in the Spectromagic parade, but she still flies from the castle into Tomorrowland at the beginning of Wishes. If you stand in the Rose Plaza, to the right of the castle, Tink will fly right over your head.

Yes, tinkerbell still flies from the castle during the Wishes fireworks.

she doesnt fly during the parade but as stated above, she does fly during Wishes, which is always great to see

Although she does fly from the castle at the begining of the fireworks, there is no guarantee that she will fly every night!

We were there for the fireworks a a clear warm dry still Saturday evening in April and I had the PERFECT spot to photograph Tink, and she didn't show up that night!!!! Must have been off playing with the lost boys!!!

She kicks off the Wishes Fireworks, and flies from the top of the Castle to TomorrowLand, and you may catch her in the parade once in awhile.

OH NO! I didn't know this, I thought she flew from the castle every night. My DH missed her flight on our last visit, he was off getting our DD a bottle of water and when they got back to our spot Tink had already flown overhead!! I am sure she flies more nights than not, but as I've read on some other threads lately, it is a shame when an expectation has been set that then for some reason is not met on a trip that is "tarnishes" the trip a bit!

I also believe that weather can be an issue, but I can't say for sure when and when not the fireworks might be cancelled due to weather or Tink might not fly. I have not had the occasion to be at the fireworks during bad weather!!!!

I know I was mildly disappointed that night, as we don't often stay for the fireworks, and I had purposely gotten a great spot directly under her flight path for a photo op!!! Tink was naughty fairy that night!

Yes, I'm sure that is what it is - then surely the illusion would have been tarnished forever!!! Children young and old would have been crushed when the secret was revealed! I will HIDE my camera next time!

My Tara likes your Tara's room! Very cute! Great work. The carousel is great too. I am very fond of carousel horses (the ride makes me ILL!)
