Finding the Magic ~ 3/27 a must watch for all disney fans!

My links are NOT working and I need help! Who can remind me how to link to the exact post?

Cm'on please... pretty please.:worship:

great update!!
Sorry about the DME driver :( Our buses in Oct and Dec were the same way. The first 2 seats were always reserved for some reason. I always thought it was for people with special needs but it could also be a security issue too I'm guessing as it might be hard to see into the first seat or something? Having his lunch up front with him is probably a violation as well because I've seen the other DME drivers in Oct and Dec do the same thing. On the resort buses, they have a storage locker of sorts to put theirs in I think. The buses I was on though said "reserved" with like a laminated paper over the seats...I guess we'll never know though haha. Maybe next time you can ask the nice driver lol.

Glad to see you made it safely!

Links:

If you click at the number in the top right corner of your post, it will open a window of just that post.

Right click, copy, the www.whatever info at the top.

When you post it on your chapters, you need to click edit (obviously lol) and then click on the icon that looks like the globe with the infinity type looking icon below it.

That will pop up a box that you can right click/paste from the chapter. You can then add a title or whatever after you click okay and it "highlights it" for you.

Hope that helps!!! I always check my chapters to make sure they are working!

What a nasty ME driver, he doesn't need two seats to hold his lunch, in fact, he doesn't even need the one seat, he could have kept it up front with him.

great update!!

Now if there was a reserved sign, I'd totally understand. :thumbsup2 Oh well, as soon as we arrived at AKL I was over it. :cool1:

That's where that link was... I totally forgot where the exact post link was and was clicking all over the page. But not that part. :confused3 Thank you!!!

He was a bit of a crank. I bet he doesn't get too many tips. What comes around...;)

Hello! Card holding member of the OPA here! :goodvibes For the record, our party of 6 had 7 suitcases (not to mention all our carry ons!) - and yes - we definitely overpacked! But you just never know what you might need ...

Loving your report! Can't wait to read the best part at the end!!!

Joining in! I believe you posted on my TR, right? If not I saw you on another one I post on. Who knows, I opened the page at some point and now I'm here. :goodvibes

You are a SAINT for not screaming at your husband during all those flights to Orlando! Holy smokes. If we had two I'd be, "You are on duty with A, I've got B!" Or, "Since I stay home with the kids all week, you get them during the flight!" :rolleyes1 ;)

I can see why not having him on this flight was easier!

Your kids are beautiful! Looking forward to more!

Your car says it's -21*":scared:

You aren't from MN are you??? It's been wicked there lately again. We are from MN, but now live in NYC. Pretty much the whole fam is there though.

Great update!! I cannot believe the driver, what a jerk!! Tink is so cute, I would have to pinch her cheeks everyday. Looking forward to more.

We sent our luggage ahead with Hubs, the week before. He was not pleased to have to take 2 - 70+lbs bags with him for his weekly trip south.

He'll get over it ::yes::

Too bad.

He was on point and helpful.
He did great. He made me proud.

WTG Peter:cool1:

Whenever we fly early in the morning, I make it a point to have the kids bathed the night before and I put them to bed in clothes comfortable enough to sleep in, yet appropriate to fly in as well. It’s just one small step easier to not have to deal with in the morning… and less fighting with Tink over just what she is going to wear that day.

I do this too and I only have one. Makes life sooo much easier:thumbsup2

The woman asked if we were headed to WDW and shoved 2 un-used double stroller passes in my hand. I thanked her, but told her I was unsure if we could use them and she replied that she'd feel better if someone at least try to use them because she paid highway robbery for them. :)

Nice. A little pixie dust to start the trip:wizard:

The driver earned no tip from princessjv.

Nor did he deserve one:headache:

Forget Mr. Crabby Bus Driver, We were in awe, immediately.

Can't wait toread more:goodvibes

Yay, so glad you are doing another TR here on the DIS! :cool1: I'm enjoying your writing style, very entertaining. Your kids are growing up so quickly (don't they all? :confused3). I remember meeting you and Peter on your solo trip and he was such a little guy, now he looks like a little man.

Can't wait for more!! :yay:

Subbing, I just love your writing style and I'm totally hooked!

I'm with Brookeelizabeth about the flying with DH - I have actually said to mine that since I get all the scut work of taking care of them all week, he gets to entertain <insert child being most demanding at the moment> for the flight. Of course it never fails that said child suddenly becomes engrossed in some quiet activity while the two I've got hold of pick that moment to conspire to find some wonderful bit of mischief. :rotfl:

Great start. I am looking forward to reading more of your trip report.

:rotfl: Love it!

I looked to Peter to step up and help more with the carryon bags and stroller.

He was on point and helpful.
He did great. He made me proud
.
:thumbsup2 I'd expect nothing less from him! :goodvibes

The ME stops 2 times. We were on the 2nd stop. The driver gave our luggage to another family at the 1st stop. Bye bye luggage.
:scared1: Did you ever get it back?!

When the driver loaded he told Peter that he was in a reserved seat and he’d have to move.
"Reserved" for whom?! :confused3

The seat behind the driver remained empty for the entire trip.
We were the last to be dropped off.
Good grief.

Ugh - sorry about the ME driver.....can't wait to hear about AKL though!! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

(I hear ya on the traveling with Daddy thing - with 3 my hubby usually has at least one, but it is usually the oldest who is totally entertained with a DS game or something and doesn't require a lot of "help"...Shawn ends up napping the whole time. I guess I shouldn't complain because I can't sleep on planes anyway, and since I hate to fly, staying very busy is actually helpful as it keeps my mind off the fact that we are flying 30,000 feet in the air!!!)

Sara

What is it with hubbies thinking they can sit by themselves on flights? Whenever we did short haul flights when the girls were young we always seemed to get a 3 and a 1. Luckily transatlantic we always have a 4 :goodvibes

What a grumpy driver, for goodness sake why does he need a seat for his lunch? I bet he would have preffered a tip :rotfl:

Ladies and Gentlemen- Look who we have here for an early appearance...
It's none other that my over packing girlfriend, who you will meet much more later in the story.
Hello! Card holding member of the OPA here! :goodvibes For the record, our party of 6 had 7 suitcases (not to mention all our carry ons!) - and yes - we definitely overpacked!
I stand corrected... it was 7 suitcases for 2 kids under the age of 6, a mom & dad and a set of grandparents. hmm. Definitely OPA for you dear! :rotfl2:

I agree 100% sista!
You guessed it! But baby, it warmed up! Today's high is 24. Seriously we went almost 50* over the weekend. It feels like FL.

Well at least I'll keep telling myself that.

Great update!! I cannot believe the driver, what a jerk!! Tink is so cute, I would have to pinch her cheeks everyday.
Melissa- I do like to pinch her cheeks and eat her up! The bus driver was taking his job serious... well at least his lunch! :rotfl:

He'll get over it ::yes::
And too bad if not, right. ;)
I do this too and I only have one. Makes life sooo much easier:thumbsup2
SO much better! :thumbsup2

A long, long, long time later. :headache:
