Now if there was a reserved sign, I'd totally understand.great update!!
Sorry about the DME driverOur buses in Oct and Dec were the same way. The first 2 seats were always reserved for some reason.
That's where that link was... I totally forgot where the exact post link was and was clicking all over the page. But not that part.Links:
If you click at the number in the top right corner of your post, it will open a window of just that post.
He was a bit of a crank. I bet he doesn't get too many tips. What comes around...What a nasty ME driver, he doesn't need two seats to hold his lunch, in fact, he doesn't even need the one seat, he could have kept it up front with him.
Your car says it's -21*"![]()
We sent our luggage ahead with Hubs, the week before. He was not pleased to have to take 2 - 70+lbs bags with him for his weekly trip south.
He was on point and helpful.
He did great. He made me proud.
Whenever we fly early in the morning, I make it a point to have the kids bathed the night before and I put them to bed in clothes comfortable enough to sleep in, yet appropriate to fly in as well. Its just one small step easier to not have to deal with in the morning and less fighting with Tink over just what she is going to wear that day.
The woman asked if we were headed to WDW and shoved 2 un-used double stroller passes in my hand. I thanked her, but told her I was unsure if we could use them and she replied that she'd feel better if someone at least try to use them because she paid highway robbery for them.![]()
The driver earned no tip from princessjv.
Forget Mr. Crabby Bus Driver, We were in awe, immediately.

.I looked to Peter to step up and help more with the carryon bags and stroller.

The ME stops 2 times. We were on the 2nd stop. The driver gave our luggage to another family at the 1st stop. Bye bye luggage.
"Reserved" for whom?!When the driver loaded he told Peter that he was in a reserved seat and hed have to move.
Good grief. The seat behind the driver remained empty for the entire trip.
We were the last to be dropped off.
I stand corrected... it was 7 suitcases for 2 kids under the age of 6, a mom & dad and a set of grandparents. hmm. Definitely OPA for you dear!Hello! Card holding member of the OPA here! For the record, our party of 6 had 7 suitcases (not to mention all our carry ons!) - and yes - we definitely overpacked!
I agree 100% sista! You are a SAINT for not screaming at your husband during all those flights to Orlando! Holy smokes. If we had two I'd be, "You are on duty with A, I've got B!"Or, "Since I stay home with the kids all week, you get them during the flight!"

I can see why not having him on this flight was easier!![]()
You guessed it! But baby, it warmed up! Today's high is 24. Seriously we went almost 50* over the weekend. It feels like FL.
Well at least I'll keep telling myself that.
Melissa- I do like to pinch her cheeks and eat her up! The bus driver was taking his job serious... well at least his lunch!Great update!! I cannot believe the driver, what a jerk!! Tink is so cute, I would have to pinch her cheeks everyday.
And too bad if not, right. He'll get over it![]()
SO much better!I do this too and I only have one. Makes life sooo much easier![]()
They grow to fast! I remember our two playing so nicely in teh pool and your awesome momma watching them whilst we DIS visited! I love my DIS friends!Yay, so glad you are doing another TR here on the DIS!I'm enjoying your writing style, very entertaining. Your kids are growing up so quickly (don't they all?
). I remember meeting you and Peter on your solo trip and he was such a little guy, now he looks like a little man.
:
Well hello there! Long time since I've seen you around these parts. Is the new baby keeping you busy?Joining in! Cant wait for more![]()
We momma's have to ban together and kick our Hubs in the tush! Next time swap! We must unite and give it back to the Hubs!Subbing, I just love your writing style and I'm totally hooked!
I'm with Brookeelizabeth about the flying with DH - I have actually said to mine that since I get all the scut work of taking care of them all week, he gets to entertain <insert child being most demanding at the moment> for the flight. Of course it never fails that said child suddenly becomes engrossed in some quiet activity while the two I've got hold of pick that moment to conspire to find some wonderful bit of mischief.![]()
Hi Lucy, Welcome!Great start. I am looking forward to reading more of your trip report.
Lucy
A long, long, long time later.Did you ever get it back?!
Maybe we don't want to know what on earth was in there. That must have been one very special lunch.![]()
Thank you! Those kiddos of your are gorgeous! Tink looks just like you.![]()
Hey Sara!(I hear ya on the traveling with Daddy thing - with 3 my hubby usually has at least one, but it is usually the oldest who is totally entertained with a DS game or something and doesn't require a lot of "help"...Shawn ends up napping the whole time. I guess I shouldn't complain because I can't sleep on planes anyway, and since I hate to fly, staying very busy is actually helpful as it keeps my mind off the fact that we are flying 30,000 feet in the air!!!)
Good point. I bet he would have. What a grumpy driver, for goodness sake why does he need a seat for his lunch? I bet he would have preffered a tip![]()
