finding someone?

Any advice on how to find a old freind? All I know is he went to M middle school for two years, had no siblings, father was in the military, Moved to rockford ill when we were in 8th grade. He has a very common last name.

Have you tried Classmates or one of the other similar sites?

Not everyone wants to be found though. There are a good amount of people who try really hard to stay off the grid.

A close friend of mine is under a false name on FB because of that. Everything is blocked and she has no personal info (no occupation, location, etc) and will not accept friend invites - she finds the people she wants to find.

Have you tried locating his Dad? His name wouldn't have changed even if he was divorced or remarried, etc. Someone told me that if you are looking for someone to try the male relatives first. Worth a shot.

What about the white pages online? Maybe his name is too common, but they do give ages of the people, might help narrow it down?
