Finding Nemo ride.. best time to ride? pooh size people ok?

I'm so glad to learn about the observation room!

My mother is clausterphobic (freaked out on Star Tours:scared1:) and there's no way we'd get her on this.

The Nemo subs have little fans located somewhere by the portholes blowing cool air in your face during the entire ride. I know they do, because I've been on it several times and each time I was grateful for the air blowing in my face during the ride and thinking that if they didn't have the air blowing in my face and everyone else's faces that we would all most likely start feeling hot, sick, and clausterphobic. But I was leaning way in toward the porthole. Perhaps those sitting back with their faces further away from the porthole can't feel the air.

Am I the only one that thought the Nemo ride was terrible? It was hot and stuffy in the sub and the animation was not that cool, we went first thing in the morning and still waited for about 30 minutes.

I am with you! I did not enjoy the ride, and will not ride it again.

I enjoyed the ride when I went on it back on '07, but I'm very concerned about the tight space after being on it. I'm a touch on the claustrophobic side and my anxiety has gotten worse over the past couple of years. I never even thought about the observation room. I would have thought it would have been more limited access but it's nice to know I have that option! So I may have to change my plans and make time for that come July! :thumbsup2 Talk about a sigh of relief.

My mother has knee problems and cannot do stairs, would we all be able to enjoy the show together or would they only allow her to use the observation room?
You would all be able to go together to the Observation Room. Just let the CM know that your Mom cannot do stairs, how many people are in your group, and that you would all like to stay together. (If there were LOTS of you, it might be difficult to accommodate, but otherwise, it should not be an issue at all.

Not sure what "show" you are referring to. Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage (FNSV) is a ride on a submarine.

If she cannot do stairs I do not see how she can do this ride.

By the "show" I believe she means what you see through the porthole when in the submarine looking out the window. Many view FNSV as a show more than a ride since what you see through the porthole is most of the experience. If one can't do the stairs, they can definitely enjoy the experience by using the Observation Room.
