I am really looking forward to the release of Finding Nemo. It looks like a really good movie--perhaps on the lines of funny as Monsters? But, what do you know about the Pirates of the Carribean? My DS11 and DD9 both got panicked by the previews. Will it be too intense for kids?

Are they also doing a movie of Pirates of the Caribbean? or are you talking about the WDW ride. If you are refering to the ride, my son 3 rode it last year with no problems, but he is a huge pirate fan. The singing makes it fun. HTH

They had a "World Premiere Preview" of Pirates of the Caribbean during a break in "Atlantis" on Wonderful World of Disney (ABC) last night. It IS intense and definitely not a little kid's movie. My guess is it will be released as PG-13, though perhaps OK for 10 and up who can handle scary stuff; we'll have to wait and see. Finding Nemo on the other hand will almot certainly be a G -- no problems evident from previews.

With Eddie Murphy starring in the HM movie, it's got to be a comedy... :smooth:

When I took my younger nephews to see the Piglet movie, they had a preview for Finding Nemo. This was made by Disney & Pixar and looks really good. I would say this would be along the lines of 5 years old & up for age. This is due out on May 30th.

I saw the preview for the Pirates of the Caribbean movie that's due out on July 9th. I would say this is geared more towards 8 years old & up.

Below are links to both movie websites. Take a peek and view the previews.

I had not heard about the HM movie!! Definitely sounds like a comedy spin if Eddie Murphy is involved. Do you know when this movie comes out?
