Finding Nemo bus....

My DH spotted the Finding Nemo bus at a local gas station the other day.....and didn't even take a pic for me! SOOOOO glad we have these expensive picture phones! lol It was quite a shock to see it here in our smaller sized town, but I guess they were just gassing up. He said it was very cute. Pics I have seen online look great and I love the seagulls perched on top!

Unfortunately, it already has been.

It was here May 14/15 (Portland). I finally found out from Radio Disney that it would be at a cinema parking lot from 5-6:30pm on the 15th. We drove 40min and got there at 5:50pm and they had everything packed up because they needed to LEAVE at 6:30. They had it set up for about 40 min apparently. What a total waste. They let us walk around it and gave us a sticker, pen and brochure. Then we got to listen to the apx 12-15 blue shirted 'CMs' (not sure what they would be considered outside of DL) question whether they really had to stand around til 6:30. It was very disappointing. My almost 5yr old started sobbing as it was a reward for her 5yr old immunizations and he said, "Sorry. I can give you this tho." about the brochure.

Ok, can you tell I'm a little ticked off still. Nobody was there except us and I'm assuming they had a low turnout so decided to close up shop.

That totally blows! I had to bribe my dd for her 5 year old shots, too, and if it went that way, we would feel the same as you. (we let her pick out something small at Toys R Us) I can't believe the "CMs" were so blatant with their lack of enthusiasm. And like a 5 year old is going to be thrilled with some pamplet!

I was trying not to be grouchy, but after I posted last night I did send a note to Disney about it also. I have a very high tolerance for poor customer service. I LOVE complimenting GOOD service, but am pretty remiss about complaining....I really consider that anyone can have a bad day. This was just so disappointing.....especially because it was Disney and I hold them to a higher standard.

OP...sorry to turn your post into a vent of my own. We were talking about how fun it would have been to just look over and see that entourage travelling down I-5. It was very cool to see. And they had 'pace' cars that were all decorated as well. It was a sight for sure and I can't believe your dh didn't take a pic for you. My camera batteries died right before I snapped our first picture, but I did get a few with the cell phone camera. The seagulls on top were very cute and said, "Mine. Mine. Mine".
