Finding Champagne in Epcot

Where would be the best place in Epcot to try to find Champagne (I would settle for white wine) to take back to our resort hotel room. I was thinkin France would have wine but I do not know about Champagne. Any information would be helpful!

well, considering champagne can actually only come from champagne in france, it'd be a good bet.. unless you're talking about sparkling wine in general. disney actually has its own brand called fairy tale cuvee from iron horse vineyards which is available most anywhere including resort gift shops. supposed to be quite good.

Italy also has a sweet sparkling red wine called Rosa Regal and it is FABULOUS!! Wonderful with dark chocolate as well, try some if you get the chance...YUM!

To take back to your resort? I don't know that the Epcot restaurants have a license to sell an unopened bottle to take with you. My guess is that you need to either select from what's at the resort gift shops or go out in town to a liquor store.

The France wine shop has unopened bottles of Champagne. You'd probably pay a higher price than normal for it but they do have it. Also, at the kiosk outside, they sell champagne by the glass (plastic). The other countries that have wine shops with unopened bottles for sale are Itlay and Germany. Not sure if they have sparkling wine or not. We usually get a glass of wine at the Germany shop and they will let you do tastings there and the Cast Members are very knowledgeable. Try France first, though. I know they have it there. You can take it back to your room as long as its unopened. You cannot exit Epcot with opened alcoholic drinks, though.

Rosa Regal by Baniff - you can buy a bottle - its a red ,sweet, smooth, hint of berries, sparkling champagne style wine... (our home wine store sells it for $19 - you'll pay $5 a glass, and I think more per bottle )

And like everyone said France does have there Champagne Pommery I believe is the brand name... (it sells for about $30 at our home wine stores)

I do buy the sparkling champagne style wines at the food courts - and take to the room, I usually have my champagne cork - I bought it at a wine shop at home - it fits snugly over the bottle lid and lip and keeps the champagne bubbly for a few days after opening (I think it was around $5)

I've also purchased wine in the Food court to take back to the room, and the CM's have a corkscrew they lent me to open before I left the shop! (now I come prepared!!)

You can get a bottle in France, but if you are renting a car, I would go to a liqour store instead. The price on property is really expensive.

I would get a bottle outside of WDW if at all possible, but if that is not an option... even the gift shops in the resorts have sparkling wines. Don't know if they have Bannf's Rosa Regale but I have seen the Fairy Tale Cuvee in the shops at many resorts before.

Also, most of the countries in Epcot's World Showcase will have wine (including sparkling varieties) available for purchase. You can take it, unopened, back to your room and enjoy it there! We always pack a corkscrew, plastic wine glasses and a wine stopper in our checked luggage for just such occasions.

I don't know if they'll let you take an unopened bottle (probably) but I know they won't let you take an opened bottle or a drink. A couple years ago, DS bought a glass of wine to go at France. However, when he got to the International Gateway, they said that the rule was that he couldn't take his drink out of Epcot. We were headed somewhere we had ressies, so he stood there and quickly downed 1/2 glass of wine.
