Can someone tell me exactly what exchanges are and how to get involved with them if I decide I am interested? Thanks

Example: The My Favorite Easter Candy Exchange

First you would follow the instructions in the first post. Sending the person that is hosting (in this case kaylajr) a PM with your name, address, email address, number of exchanges you would like to do, if you would like to mail international or not, and any allergies that you have.

After the sign-ups close, the host will send you the name and address of another exchanger. You go out and purchase your favorite Easter Candy and mail to that person. In return someone will get your name and address and mail you their favorite Easter Candy.

I miss Main Street terribly but won't see it till October. 2006 is not being nice to me. But anyway I think this loos fun so am doing it now so I have something to look forward to ...
