I know financing is not the best way to go and dont need opinions on that, but we are considering financing and just wanted advice to see if it would be possible for us to do this. Is there a minimum credit requirement to finance direct or is it as easy to obtain as resale financing with Monera? Does anyone know the name of the financing company that Disney uses? Is there a prepayment penalty? Thank you.

DVC offers the financing themselves. they dont' report to credit bureaus. The requirement is to have a pulse. And that might be negotiable.
Omg that is hilarious, good to know and a little scary how easy it is lol

No prepayment penalty

I did see a person on Facebook that said that they were not approved by Disney financing, so there must be some criteria.
My credits not so bad I was just wondering if they wanted near perfect, but sad for that person 😪

We just financed our purchase we did last month. It was very easy. Because we had been a member already for over a year we got the best rate, but given current mortgage rates they aren’t really that bad. They are a mortgage and thus you can pay down the principal via their website at any time and reduce your interest costs. Those additional payments can be done via credit card. If you setup autopay for the regular payments those have to be a bank ACH.
