Made our reservations for end of August. We'll finally be able to camp at FW!!!! Last camper the a/c would not have been strong enough to keep the camper cool. But the new camper (Puma) is better equipped.
After we visited the Fort last February we knew we needed to come back and actually camp there.
I think it's going to be a long 9 months

Good to hear.

That 9 months will go by fast. We've been first week of August. It was fun, but man it was hot. You will still enjoy.

Yeah we've always gone in winter, so we're going to scale way back on what we expect to get done. We are thinking 2 days of just kicking around the fort and enjoying the free parts of Disney

We went mid-August and it was 114 humidex every day for a week. Thank God Disney has their act together and knows how to make use of mists etc to keep their guests a little more comfy in the queues.

We've been several times in June/July/August. (aka Surface of the Sun Season) The heat makes you do the parks in a much different way. You find the shows and indoor things that you may walk past in cooler weather. Between 12 -3, you take advantage of every opportunity to get into the A/C for a little while. It still makes for an enjoyable trip, just different than going in the winter or early spring.
