We've been going back and forth about going down for the F&W for a few months now. Today I got a "Ding" fare from Southwest I couldn't refuse...$202 round trip per person......so now we are going rather than having to cancel. But now we are flying down a day early to get the cheaper rate....need a room for one night. I figure I'll go on the waitlist but other than that should I book something with CRO?

The waitlist is giong to be iffy at this point so I'd definitely plan for a back-up with CRO. You'll have up until 6 days before that reservation to cancel without penalty if you get something through DVC.
