Great stuff!!! You make me really look forward to getting down there with an ultra-wide lens.

It was the first time I really had a chance to play around with it and now it is by far my favorite lens. :thumbsup2

Beautiful pics Jen! My favorites are the fireworks, Animal Kingdom Lodge, and the last 2 beach pics. I would love to see more of you pics.

All terrific shots, Jen. I wanted to pick a favorite but couldn't make up my mind. I especially like the vertical orientation EE shot as well as the beach shots. Nice work! :thumbsup2

Great photos and I loved the cloud/storm formation from the Vero beach shots!

Awesome shots...

I was thinking... would you mind if I copy them, remove your watermark/copyright, add my watermark/copyright... add a few babes, vampires, or Pirate wenches....and post them on my website........:rotfl: :lmao: :cool1:

I have a Marilyn Monroe shot that would look great cloned into the beach picture..

just kidding...:thumbsup2

That would definately be - creative. ;)

oops, you were too quick, you quoted me before I added the Marilyn part...;)

Nice work Jen. Love the wide angle stuff. I'm hoping to get me the 10-20mm within a few months. I have a pending deal with DW

Great shots. Love the cloud formation on the storm at the beach. Don't often get to catch the edge of one like that so clearly. Did you do some tweaking to get the colors so vibrant? If not, I need to buy whatever camera and lens setup you were using!

Thanks

all I did to the vast majority of my photos was crop some, darken highlights, lighten some shadows, reduce noise in a few - I did those... and sharpen.

It was one of the most awesome looking storms I have ever seen and while everyone else was running off teh beach - towards the hotel - I was running out of the hotel and onto the beach. LOL

I couldn't let that one get by.

The camera used was my canon 30D and most of my photos were taken with either the sigma 10-20mm, the canon 28-135 IS or the canon 70-200L

Thanks

awesome...you know you've totally lost it when you go out into a thunderstorm with your camera on a tripod :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Nice work Jen- I love them. Especially the ones of the storm clouds on the beach.

I've been doing that for a couple of years now - ever since Ian (the hubster) and I got into storm spotting. I know it isn't the smartest thing in the world to do - maybe I should start carrying a huge sign with disclaimer.

Love your photos, Jen! Esp. the Expedition Everest....how did you get the exposure so perfect between the sky and the reflection? Usually the sky is blown out but the reflection in the water is perfect. You managed to get both perfectly exposed. Awesome!:thumbsup2

And that storm cloud photo is amazing. Great work!

Dang!
Jen's going to be very hard to beat in the weekly contest!
Very, very nice! :)

Wow - they are great! :thumbsup2 I especially like the fireworks, Expedition Everest, and the ominous storm cloud rolling in. I also really like the color of the sky in #3. Did you use any kind of filter for any of them?

I used to hate thunderstorms, but now my family thinks I am a freak because I run for the camera!:woohoo:
