Hi all,

Finally signing in after lurking since January. I've been frantically taking notes :) and am now ready with questions! We are heading to DisneyWorld in May, and are very excited. Thanks to all for your excellent advice! :worship:

Welcome....ask away....there's lots of info here!!!!

Thank you! We are going in May and are very excited. The last time I visited Disney was wayyy back in 1996!

A quick question to begin ... I think I read the answer somewhere but can't remember where ... how do I keep track of the threads I start and those I'm interested in following?

Go up to the top left corner, to User CP

On the list on the left, you'll be able to List Subscriptions.

If you want to follow a thread but have nothing to say, the Thread Tools (up, before the very first post) will enable you to Add a Subscription.

Tell us more about your trip!

Thank you, Aliceacc! Now let's see if I remember when I need it. :lmao:

I am taking my 23 year old son. He has autism and was eight years old when we took him and his brother in '96. He loved Disney! I made a promise that I'd take him back some year and this is finally the year. Joining us is a family friend who is also our respite worker. She is a 70 year old delightfully wacky women who has never been (but has a hankering to meet Jack Sparrow) so my son and I are very excited about introducing her to Disney. Needless to say, we are not going commando-style and will be going at a leisurely pace with mid-day breaks. I think I'm more excited about the trip than they are!

Welcome!! May is a great time to visit and the weather is warm and not too humid.
