Hi all
Its that time again to go off to our happy place :)
We honestly thought we would have had an easier yr this yr then last but it wasn't to be.
Unfortunately my tumour has come back in my head along with the severe infection in the bones of my skull so as soon as this trip is finished I'm starting treatment again and back in goes the picc line!

However I'm not going to dwell as I'm way too excited!

So we have opened our terrimundi and expected to have around £400 in there but was shocked to find just under £700! :)
We changed it for just over $1180 VERY HAPPY..

As some of you read I'm flying out with the 3 boys without DH due to his duties in the raf,
So he will join us on Thursday evening.
We're nicely settled at the Prem inn but I'm too excited to sleep......lol

Our flights at 11.15
We did twilight check in at 7pm very straight forward as usual and secured our seats in the bubble we was in and out in under 30 mins.
We then had dinner at the hotel which was very yummy, and made me think of all the great food that is to come.

Our tradition is to have pancakes at mcdonalds in the morning, the alarm is set for 6.30,so I best get some sleep.

I will do my very best to keep up with a live report,
We will be doing universal staying at royal pacific for 7 nights
With legoland wet.wild and hopefully seaworld.
Then off to Ssr for 14 nights...

In our family is
Me. Cindy 28
Dh Ian 33
Oldest son Brandon 11
Twin boys Ethan & Anthony 9.
And my mum Gladys 81.

Will upload from photobucket soon as

Sorry about your health again. Hoping the treatment will be successful. Happy travels. Looking forward to hearing about Universal!

Hope you have a great holiday. Have stayed at both those hotels and loved them.

I started my terramundi pot in March, £2 only, will be for next years holiday.

I always have pancakes at Gatwick before we go. Then last year flew from heathrow and there wasn't a MacDonalds when we went through security. then discovered these little breakfast things at Pret a manger, delicious.

Looking forward to reading your trip report, especially Legoland as will be going for the first time this year.

Have Fun

Have a safe flight and a magical trip. I hope that all goes well for you when you get home! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

That's great on the terramundi - a nice surprise! We have one and are saving £2 coins (which I have discovered are not that easy to come by!). On our jar it said if you fill it, you will get around £1,000 if you put in £2 coins. I am hoping (!) we are about half way on ours, perhaps a bit less as the shape makes it awkward to know.

You will probably be on your flight now - hope you have a safe journey and all goes well at the other end juggling everything.

Looking forward to hearing all about it. I am sure you will have an amazing time. Lucky you, might get to see Diagon Alley if it opens to public before you leave US :thumbsup2.

Sorry to hear about the tumour returning x

There must be a lot hidden away in terramundi jars! :rotfl:

Yes, you are probably right. :rotfl2: You rarely get them in change or anything! I had considered £1 coins but trying to get about £1000 in there!

The nice man at the Post Office told me lots of people collect them (ha, not for an Orlando holiday I don't think), so that's why they have a small circulation. :confused3

Re £2 coins. My local corner shop save them for me to help me fill my pot to the 1k level! If you frequent a local shop daily like me it's worth asking them to save them for you :)

We started our pots last year, we also only collect £2 coins........... So far we have 1 of those clay pots crammed and also 3 of the tins. We plan on opening them the week of July 11th as that's when we need to pay off the holiday, so fingers crossed we'll be flooding the market with £2 coins LOL!!!

Cindy so sorry to hear your health has gone down hill again hopefully the treatment on your return home will be very successful.

Hopefully you had a hassle free trip and all the kids help out you and your mum........ Can't wait to hear about your trip and see your photos
