I'm working at trying to get things updated here but between both jobs and that thing called sleep, I'm having a hard time finding time. Here's a little bit of something for you though.
On Friday we went to Animal Kingdom (both of our favorite park now).
As I've mentioned before my wife loves The Lion King, well, as we enter the gates, the opening song for The Lion King starts playing. I wish I could of got a picture of the smile on her face.
We decided to get a picture in front of the tree of life. We had no idea what the photographer was doing when she told us to stare at the ground and look surprise, well, she was adding a little Disney magic that put an even bigger smile on my wife's face.
After the picture we went to see Finding Nemo, great show, I have some pictures I'll post later.
We then went on the Safari ride. Our driver decided to wait for the rickety old bridge to work. My wife is terrified of bridges and had no idea what was going to happen, I got a good laugh out of it.
After the safari we went up to conservation station. Not much to report there except a cow that loves to have its butt scratched.
Then we finished off Animal Kingdom with Festival of the Lion King. They seated us in the lion section right beside the door Simba comes out of. I really wish you guys could of seen how happy this made my wife. That was the true magic of Disney, it was unintentional and we had no idea it was going to happen. It made her whole trip.
I'm at work right now, when I get a chance I have pictures and videos I'm going to post.
I discovered the magic of Disney is not on the rides and if you rush around all day trying to get from ride to ride, you'll quite often over look the true magic happening all around you.
