Finally got CRT! Cancel Akershus?

Cancel CRT.... Akerhus has better character interaction, much cheaper, better food, and also have the free picture. Only thing that CRT has going for it is location, it is a great atmosphere and nice if you have an early ADR before park opens.

I'm sorry I'd rather the prime rib at CRT dinner than what we encountered at our dinner at Akershus

I would keep both. We love Akershus breakfast (food and character interaction is outstanding), however there is nothing like the experience of eating in the castle. The food at CRT is just o.k. to us (we have only done breakfast but would like to do dinner sometime). We also have 2 girls that are into the princesses still so if I was able to get CRT along with my current Akershus (which BTW is a must do each trip) then I would definitely keep both.

Personally with the ages of your daughters, I would do both. We did CRT & Akershus for lunch in Sept and are doing both for breakfast in May. DD4 is ALL about the princesses and there is never enough. We really enjoyed Akershus, the picture is great, and DD had so much fun. Even with both princess meals, we still saw the princesses many other times on our trip! Never enough princesses for a little girl!

I did both. I prefered the food and service at Akershus but when I ask my kids about what meals they remember from our last trip (2 years ago) they all remember the Castle and Chef Mickey's but look at me like I'm talking in a foreign language when I mention the Princess Storybook Dining. They liked it at the time but don't remember it now, even my teenager barely remembers it. But they do remember the Castle and everything we did there (the wishing ceremony, the wands, etc.)

Thanks for the replies! DD4 just made up my mind for me, I guess...she told me she NEEDED to see the princesses twice! How can you say no to that? I mean, it's serious business to her!!

We found out too how serious and real it is to little girls that age. Definately, it is part of the magic. We normally had the club CM send a invitiation from a princess with a picture, to them, inviting them to the princess breakfast at the castle. It will also provide you another opportunity to get pictures with the princesses without needing to stand in a character line in the parks, where you wait for long periods of time.
