Since I haven’t been to WDW in 12 loooong years, there has been A LOT of changes since then. There is no way Steve and I are going to see everything in one trip. That being said, I thought I’d make a list of attached according to the priority in which we want to visit. My main plan of attack for this trip is to try to see and ride things that we’re not around in ’99 and check out some old favorites. As you can tell I’m a tad excited about this trip, so I have feeling I’m going be a bit of a commando during the trip. :hyper:

Since have a Disneymoon in the works for 2012, we can save some attractions for that trip.

I also have a another strategy for this trip and my Disneymoon. Since Steve and I are currently childless, I figure we can enjoy things that might be boring or hard to do once we visit WDW with our own children. There are other things I want to wait to do until bring my own children, like Dumbo. In my opinion every child’s first ride at MK should be Dumbo hands down. Unless, I decide to come back when my Aunt brings her kids in 2014 for her daughter Mia’s 8th grade graduation, I probably won’t be coming back for a few years, But Never say Never. :rolleyes1

So the next few post will be my Plan of Attack for each park and other Disney/Orlando attractions.

Took me a fair bit to catch up, but I've done it! I think I have to agree that no DP will give you the most flexibility. You will be able to eat waht you want, without feeling obligated to get stuff that's going to end up in the trashcan...shameful waste is never good!

YodaMan is so cute!! I think he's going to have some really amazing adventures!!

And what's this about Dumbo being the first ride. Where's your duty to instill some real fun in your future little ones' thrillability? Start with ToT!! :lmao:

Yoda is quite the cutie. :cloud9:

:rotfl2:I'm sure thethe father of my unborn children would agree with you Liesa. He'd says something like "Start them early!" :rotfl:

I'm inclined to agree about CoP. My mom saw it once when I was very little and didn't like so she never took my brother and me on it.

I've seen the GMR many time before so this might be more of a break from the heat and a rest for the feet stop.

Holy moley, all these posts!! Ok, I'm gonna do a park by park comment.

MK
I agree with Liesa to put CoP on must do. It's one of my favourites and it's also a great break from the heat.

It's funny you have "Main Street" because it's kind of hard to miss, but I understand you must mean the shops.

If you're going on an eve EMH night, a lot of those rides you're saving for your kids will have very short lines.

I like that you're saving the Aladdin ride for kids when it was on MY must-do list, haha. Of course, it's my favourite movie.

I doubt you would be able to resist the temptation to go on those "kiddy" rides when the park is mostly deserted and you're not sleepy yet.

HS
You'll probably have time to do some of your might-dos here, since the park is so small and it's so easy to get from A to B.

Haha....the Honey play area was fun. Gosh, I feel like such a kid reading your list.

Epcot
Move Turtle Talk with Crush to Must-Do NOW. You MUST NOT miss this. You'll love this and have a great time and want to come back to do it again! Definitely a must.

AK
Not much to say here...Rafiki's isn't everyone's tea, so I don't really recommend it, but I really liked it. The Jungle Jammin Parade is pretty fun!

IoA
No comments cause I've never been.

US
I highly recommend Beetlejuice. It is such a fun show, I know you'll love it.

Yuki, I agree with you about Turtle Talk. I think that will move to my Must Do list. I've seen the Beetlejuice show once before and I LOVE Beetlejuice, so I have to see it.

Beetlejuice was one of my fave movies when I was a kid. Must've seen it....10+ times...

I LOVE ME some Wolfman. My sis and I still talk about him. I can't wait to see him again next year :cool1:

Sort of OT but do remember the Beetlejuice cartoon from back in the day! I LOVED it. In Kindergarten, I had a beetlejuice cartoon lunch box and a beetlejuice doll I slept with that had a pull string and talked. Yes I was a strange child, in case you didn't already know.:lmao:

I remember Hot Topics had a T-shirt with the cover of the "Handbook for the Recently Deceased" on it and I wanted to get it so bad. However I was a poor college student at the time. :(

Yuki, we really need to hangout one day!!

YES, I definitely remember the cartoon!!! I loved the cartoony style of it.

Yeah, Hot Topic occassionally has some good things. Like the new POTC stuff! I want a shirt so badly, but the prices are ridiculous!

One day, we will meet and it was be AWESOME.

I just remembered a funny story when you mentioned the Wolfman I thought of it.

I don't know if it's still there, but there used to be a counter service restaurant at Universal that was themed around the classic monster movies (the wolfman is what jogged my memory lol.) After seeing the Beetlejuice Graveyard Review, my family and I ate there. I remember the restaurant was really empty aside from two girls in their early 20's sitting by us. Frankenstein came around and walked through the restaurant. He took pictures with my brother and I, and they walked over to the cute girls. My dad made a comment that "Frankenstein" was flirting with the girls. How the heck did that guy expect to pick up chicks as Frankenstein. :rotfl2:

I finally did it. After much internal debate, I subscribed to TouringPlans.com for a year. Since I own the Unofficial Guide to WDW, I got a discount so it only come out to about $7 a year as opposed to the regular $10. So I figure why not?

I'm glad I did because I adjusted some of my park days. According to the Crowd Calender the day I was planning on going to HS, was a 5.5 and said it was the park to avoid that day. However AK was only a 2.5 crowd level. Soo...if we switch our AK and HS days the crowds will be low for both parks and it will give us time to either do MNSSHP or Fantasmic after AK closes!

I started looking through the Touring Plans and Steve made me laugh. I said "oooh this a perfect touring plan for us" and he responded with "How about the Do-whatever-the-hell-we-want Touring Plan" :rotfl2:

I apologize to the people who are friends with me on the Facespace, however I couldn't resist adding this here as well. So some people may see this twice.

30 Day Disney Challenge - Your Favorite Disney Character - Stitch

Lilo-Y-Stitch.jpg

This was really hard for me. There are sooo many characters that I love dearly and I was really torn between Stitch and Wall-E but Stitch won out in the end. He learns the true meaning of O'hana and redeems himself in the end. It's the voice, the ears, and every time I see him dressed as Elvis I just want to die. :faint:

You should be careful with touringplans.com cause they've been having some website glitches that have been giving out bad crowd ratings.

I'm doing the 30 day princess challenge on my blog!

I ADORE STITCH. Did you know that? Like, love him so much. He doesn't get enough love.
