Finally Going Back

It's been nine long years since we have been to the "World". Our trip is Sept 12-21,2011. Staying at POFQ with free dining. We have always gone in May and don't know what to expect as far as crowds, weather (rain?), busses from resort(I read on the boards somewhere that they now have cameras at the bus stops and send busses when needed, is this true?) I also read they are re-doing the rooms at POFQ and will now have Queen beds instead of doubles, does anyone know if this will be done by September? Disney could not confirm this. Thanks.

So excited for your trip. We love going in September. The weather is perfect! We got rained on less than a handful of times in the 3 trips we've taken in September. The crowd level is very managable. It's our favorite time of the year to go. But now since my daughter started school she hates to miss school for vacation, so we are stuck going in the summer now. We have gone in July before so we are trying to prepare ourselves for the crowd & heat.

Your biggest shock will be the Magic Kingdom remodel. They are adding onto Fantasyland & Toontown is gone! Won't be done till 2012/2013. I think they are doing 2 phases. I can't think of a whole lot more that has changed since 2009. Toy Story Mania was added to HS in 2009 & I believe that is the newest attraction. Some restaurants in Epcot have changed/added. You won't be lost, it will seem like home sweet home.
