Finally getting to see the lights! Nov '11 Anniversary/Holiday/F&W PTR-New 11/4 p50

Hi Amy:goodvibes

YAY for only 4 months left!!:yay::yay::yay::yay:

Love your dress for the photo session!!:thumbsup2

Although we haven't been to MVMCP yet....(hopefully 2013) I think that the parade and fireworks would be a must do for us! Oh and as others have suggested...cookies and cocoa!! Yum!;)

:cool1::cool1: For Four Months Until Check In. I can't believe that on sunday I can actually call and make my 11 month reservation for a treehouse. Here's hoping your waitlist comes through! :worship:

are you booking a treehouse?????????

Did I miss something??????

Hi Amy! Sorry I've been MIA :flower3:

I must go back and catch up now; especially since I'm 90% sure it will be Me and Billy in November again. Looks like we'll get to meet up after all!! :goodvibes

You must send me your spreadsheets, LOL!

Okay... off to read up on all the plans....

Love that face! :rotfl:

Wouldn't it be funny if Epcot began doing a Club Cool version of "Magic, Memories, and You" on Spaceship Earth? Just imagine the globe covered in Beverly shots!! :lmao:

Thank you!!

The treehouses sound like a lot of fun!! :thumbsup2

Love the pictures from Epcot! It's by far my favorite park. I swear I could spend every day of my trip there! In fact on the one adults only trip Scott and I took that's where we spent the majority of our time. It was so much fun.:thumbsup2

Your vacation will be here before you know it! Summer vacation always seems to fly by for me... I love not dealing with homework too much so it always goes quickly. :sad2:

I really love Epcot! I wish the boys appreciated it as much as I do.

Summer is definitely flying by... I'm hoping August slows down a little bit - July has been crazy so far!

glad you had time to check in in between the busy trip schedules but hope you are having some fun and some good RnR :goodvibes

wow 4 months  wow it is coming up fast huh?

Still hoping to get my MK update posted!

Then the question is what to wear? :confused3 I’ve been looking around and I’m not finding anything I love… at this point, unless I stumble onto something cool, I’m hoping we’ll find some good Christmassy shirts at DTD the morning of the party. :santa:

Zach is right -- it is all about the Magic Kingdom! That park always has more fun than we can fit into a day!

Love all your must-dos and the pictures from the party made me super excited for you to experience it! So fun!

Have you been over to Etsy to look at Disney Christmas designs for shirts and such? They have lots of cute things!

Love this! My kids make fun of me for ducking, so I will have to let them know there are others like me.

Tiki Room (I’d love to see this after the rehab)

Mid-October for this opening, isn't it? I'm hoping it might be up and running when I take Brooklynn in October. If not, we'll see it in December.

Carousel of Progress (the boys love the song from the 4 parks CD)

9ca51411.jpg

This is also on my October list. We have not done this in a while.

Isn't it nice to have the 4 Parks CD (and a few others) to keep us singing Disney happy songs in between trips? :wizard:

keep looking there still is time :thumbsup2 and I like Jackie's idea of Esty!

What about red and green tye dye t-shirts for the party with Mickey heads? I'm sure Kat could make you some.

I've snagged some Mickey Christmas images if you start thinking about making your own shirts....but after January's shirts it would be less stressful to buy them!

I was just too many pages behind! :sad2:

I'm SO HAPPY that you get to see the lights! I've been in that position, where I thought I'd get to see them and missed them by days. It was not fun! :headache: When I saw the schedule I thought of you immediately! :yay:

As for CS options at DHS, Starring Rolls is very good! Have you ever eaten there? On the DDP you get a big sandwich with chips or fruit, plus a dessert (they have GIANT cupcakes!) and a drink. It's a great value and yummy!

Very cute!!!

I've been looking at website that sell men's shorts & most of the models seem to wear boat shoes. I'll have to have him look around.

The outfits for the boys are perfect! You guys will look great - matching, but not too matchy-matchy. As for boat shoes - they are VERY in-style right now. I see them all over the streets of NYC on every age person. They actually are kinda cute, but flip flops are always a perfect beach shoe.

Four months from today we'll be checking in at BWV (or BCV - still holding out hope that the waitlist will come through)!!:banana:

I'm sure the next two months will fly by with summer vacation & it will be here before we know it!!

(I know the next 30 days will fly by... our final payment to the DVC owner is due August 8th!)

:woohoo: it's gonna fly right by!!!

I can't wait to see it either! :hyper:

Holiday Wishes is AMAZING. LOVE it!! And the Castle lighting ceremony is breathtaking.

I believe it's supposed to be August 15. Hopefully they don't push it back again, I'd really love to see it next month!

I hate getting my hair & glasses wet on rides! :rolleyes1

I hope you get to visit the Enchanted Tiki Room with Brooklynn in October! Allears says it's opening August 15th. :thumbsup2

The tie dyes are very cute! That would be fun.

I'm definitely trying to stay away from making shirts!

I'm very relieved that we'll get to see the lights. When I told Tim that they might open late, he said, "Isn't that why we are going in November?" :rolleyes1 Luckily everything worked out. :thumbsup2

I'm glad I have the outfits figured out for our photo session. I just need to get myself some sandals... I'd better hurry up before I can't find any. I think we'll look good. Funny about the boat shoes... I may still get a pair for Tim then we can decide which looks better. He's already been wearing the flip flops around so I know he likes those... he just better not mess them up. :headache:

We've never even been inside Starring Rolls! I guess I thought they only served breakfast & desserts. :confused3

Hi Everyone!

We're enjoying a few days at our "family" cottage (distant relatives that allow us to rent it for cheap) on a lake out in the MA Berkshires. Luckily the weather has been fantastic. We had one day with a little rain but we took that as an opportunity to finally see Cars 2! We all loved it. We thought we'd be in an old low tech theather but it was very high tech and had better 3D glasses than what we are used to at our home theater. They collect the glasses from you every time you leave the theater to use the bathroom or visit the concession stand. Then they give them back to you when you go back in. They really made the difference for us. I usually have trouble with 3D because of my bad eyes & glasses but the movie looked great this time. :thumbsup2 I did however end up with a headache after.

Tomorrow we'll be heading to CT for Tim's grandmother's (GG for those of you who have followed my TRs) memorial service. She passed away last fall in Florida after breaking her hip. It should be a really nice few days because we'll get to see a lot of family we haven't seen in a while. Tim's cousin has two boys the same age as ours & they'll all be getting to dress up & go trick-or-treating Friday night at Tim's aunt & uncle's summer cottage community. They are going as a Red Sox player (Zach) and a Yankees player (Alex).

I'll be sure to post pictures when I get home. Internet is limited here but luckily Tim has a hot spot from work. But he told me no uploading/downloading so photobucket is off limits for now. :sad2:

Hope you are all having a great week! :goodvibes

Enjoy your vacation and visits! Sounds lovely!

I know you will truly love MVMCP! That parade - love it!

I just posted a bunch of pix from TSI. Loved it there. I went over by myself and it was so much fun and really quite relaxing.
