Finally getting to see the lights! Nov '11 Anniversary/Holiday/F&W PTR-New 11/4 p50

AND Booyah! for the OL...I knew they'd be up before T-giving

looks like a great list for DHS too....I'd be hesistant on the every night F!...but you never know, wasn't that way T-giving week last yr, but I don't remember earlier in the month hearing of extensions... only changes our week was extended MK hours from the original hours [posting]

but either way...you can see F! on any trip, how often do you get to see the OL

I guess I should have written this before... I always assume DISers know everything but for those who haven't heard, Fantasmic will be showing nightly for the entire summer (all of July, August & September)!! July & August I can understand based on summer crowds, but things slow down in late August & into September so I wonder if they are thinking about going back to the old schedule and they'll extend it through October & November too? I guess only time will tell, but that's why I said we might see Fantasmic if they extend the every night of the week schedule.

I guess more Fantasmics is a good thing if you want to see Fantasmic... maybe not if you want to avoid the crowds & go on a slow night. We'll see what happens but I'm glad you know so you can plan for it now.

Good for you (and me as well) that the lights are up on November 10th. I had already heard elsewhere about Fantasmic going every night July - September. Note that they have NOT yet announced every night beyond September, so I wouldn't get too excited about it just yet.

Myself, I don't know if we will bother with Fantasmic even if it's every night. I never understood them pulling that show out. Many people consider that a major motivation for going to the studios...why wouldn't you want to drive people to the park every day, not just 2 days a week.

We love DHS too! I think it's because we LOVE thrill rides so much. I cannot wait to hear all about how your boys liked the new Star Tours. It's about time it was refurbed. Ending the trip with the Osborne Lights will be magical. Love that idea Amy!

I think this year would be the time to reconsider especially if they don't stick with this schedule in the future.

I'm so relieved to finally have the dates & happy that they worked out for us! I'm really excited to see the lights. We'll see what happens with Fantasmic beyond September... We weren't planning to see it, but IF they change the schedule we might consider it. We'll see what happens. I'm not going to lose sleep over it.

Today is the last day of school... finally!! And for the first time, I think I'm ready for it! I usually dread the change in routine and chunk of time the boys are home before camps start but I think we are all ready for a little R&R.

Today will be crazy busy - I have to work for a few hours this morning, pick up a small plant for the Principal on my way home and then go to school at lunch time to give out teacher gifts from both classes & our family. Then it's the annual last day of school talent show - Zachary will be doing a karate form. Then things will finally slow down.

Hopefully that means I'll have a new update here & on the Spectrum Moms report later this week.

Today is also the first day of summer! Happy Summer Everyone!!

We made it through! Yesterday was nice but it's cold & rainy today so we're stuck inside. I guess it will give me some time to start getting ready for our camping trip over the 4th of July weekend!

Alex goes to a recreation camp in the next town over. He'll also go to a two week camp with the autism program he participates in. Zach will be doing a combination of camps, three weeks at his karate school, one week at the science center on the shore and one week at our local art studio. Both boys will do a soccer camp in our town at the end of the summer. Alex will also spend some time at school getting some tutoring. Busy, busy, busy!

Before I move on to our Epcot goals, I want to share my new dress with you.

I love the skirt I found at Old Navy, but I was having a hard time finding a shirt to go with it. While I was looking for a shirt at my favorite store, Anne Taylor Loft, I came across this dress & knew it was exactly what I wanted for the photo session:

Obviously this isn't me & the dress is the wrong color, but you get the idea of how it will look on a real person:

I think it's PERFECT & will make it a lot easier for me to coordinate with Tim & the boys. We'll probably stick with a khaki & white theme. Or maybe matching blue polo shirts for the boys.
