For those of you that have been paying attention I have had some trouble figuring out when I wanted to go down in Dec. Well, I finally figured it out, while I hate the mornings, the cheapest airfare (by $20) is if I fly out Thursday morning and back Monday morning, if I take a 6 am flight both times I will be in Orlando by 9:30 Thursday morning, and while I won't get a lot of sleep, I have gone on less, and I am sure that I will make it through MVMCP, even if I am a little tired, and maybe I will be lucky and my room will be ready early and I can rest for an hour or so. Then if I take a 6:10 am flight back I will be in Akron at 9:50 and can still work that day (I would have to be at work at 12 and live 30 minutes from the airport.) while this plan means little sleep the day down and back, it means skipping less work, as I will be able to work Wednesday night, and still work Monday. Plus I will be able to make any of the meets that are planned Sunday afternoon and evening and I know there are one or two.

I'm glad you figured it out, but to each his own. I know I would never be able to enjoy that schedule. Too much traveling in such a short amount of time. And I could NEVER go into work directly after coming home from Florida.

You also take the chance that the plane schedule may be "iffy" with the weather during the winter.

I hope you have a good time -- it's just not a schedule I could live with. :(

Well, it is a short trip or nothing, I pick a short trip, getting into the airprt at 9:30 means that I could be in the parks by 12 or so, and I will be in the MK till midnight or so for MVMCP, that really makes for 4 full days, and I actually like my job, especially Mondays, so going in will actually be a good thing, my friends there will actually want to hear about my trip, unlike my family, who will not. I can't worry about weather, but if it makes me late to work Monday, I don't care that much, my bosses are nice, and will understand.

Plus, I don't have to see everything, I was just there in May (have an AP) and just have a couple of things I don't want to miss, other than that I will just be focusing on the decorations, and the meets that are going on.

I would love this schedule (well, I would love it better if it were a week or so), but you have about 4 full days!!! And, you don't have to do EVERYTHING!! Go, have a great time!! Tell me fun stories when you get back!!:bounce:

So glad you got your schedule all figured out Alisha! I can't wait to see you for MVMCP!!!

Alisha when I was your age I easily could have handled that schedule!!! But at my age now, I'd be exhausted. You know I'm SOOOO old. LOL!

I remember flying to Washington DC to visit a friend when I was young. Worked in the morning, flew to DC for the weekend. Flew home Monday morning and made it to my college class by 1. I was tired but it was worth it.

Have fun!!!!!! Youth is on your side!

I have a stopover in Atlanta airport both ways, if you could get there I could get you, I have an extra suitcase:eek:

Give me enough time to get to Atlanta. The airport is about 2 1/2-3 hours from here.:teeth: I hope it's a big suitcase.:teeth:

This reminds me of the guy Princess Aurora posted about that shipped himself to Texas in a box.
