FINALLY COMPLETE! 10/3/2010- But Why is the Rum Gone? Disneyween 2007

I'm on ebay at the moment, attempting to win yet another mascot for our trip! (Which will bring us up to something like 853 of them, I think!)

I'll report back in an hour and a half with a photo if I win him! Keep your fingers crossed!

Thanks to the glory of e-bay, we have another new trip mascot!

What better way to celebrate my Harry Potter obsession than taking Professer Snape along with us as a mascot? His little potions vial is just begging to take part in the wine half of the F&W fest, isn't it?

This, however, poses a bit of a problem!

We already had THREE mascots!

Four, actually, if you count the Focker Crocker we'll be getting from the exchange during our trip!

So, that's five in total. Five seems like an awfully large number!

This is where I need your input!

Should we:
1) Pack em all, carry them all around the parks
2) Pack them all, but just carry one a day
3) Leave Stitch behind this trip, since he's the biggest
4) Leave Crocky at home, since we'll have another crocodile
5) Something else?

Capt. Jack is a necessity, since it's a pirate themed trip, and I'm already pretty attached to Snape!

What would you do?

I'm imagining some pretty funny photo opportunities with Snape and/or Jack, so I'd definitely bring those two. Other than that, I'd vote for option #3 or 4. Or #2, because everyone knows stuffed animals have feelings too.

I love the Snape doll! It is great:love: I say option #2. Pack them all and then decide each morning which one to take out with you.

I also vote for option 2! How could you even decide between them?! At least if you bring them all and pick one the others can keep each other company at the hotel :goodvibes

another vote for option number 2! and i love the idea of snape joining you at a kiosk in epcot canada to fill up his vial with dessert wine

I'd leave Crocky, as he's the least connected-Stitch is a staple, Jack is a must, and Snape is my current hero.

Can't Snape come up with some potion to make them all smaller, so you'll have enough room to carry them? Geez!
I say take them all. You can decide in the mornings which one to take with you. They might take on a journey of their own once you get there and get them in action. You never know. What number choice was that? 2 1/2? Something like that.
LOVE the pirate book. I think the variation on the theme works well. I don't think you're going to find many pirate CM's at the Animal Kingdom, so you'll have a appropriate place for everyone. Not that everyone shouldn't mingle....

Yeah, finished Harry today. With two kids, locking myself in the bedroom to read for two straight days wouldn't have looked good to Child Services, should them come a knockin! I am the only HP freak in my group of friends, so feel free to PM me to discuss, if you still need to get things off your chest. I have no one to discuss it with, and I am in turmoil! ;)

Don't leave Crocky! He's so cute and takes hardly any room.

I'd go with option #2.

And Crocky can claim pirate lineage though his friend Captain Hook from Peter Pan. Not a fav, but a pirate nonetheless!

There's a great thread on the Community Board that's been like therapy for me! Post Potter Depression is almost as bad as Post-Disney!

Looks like #2 is winning out! I was afraid everyone would think I was crazy for packing so many toys for a trip with no kids! :rotfl2:

I love all the love Snape is getting! I paid way more than I should be spending on a 6" man (ahem. There's a joke in there somewhere), but I LOVE him! And I can already picture how fun he will be to have in photos! I am trying very hard to get Alan Rickman to come along, dressed as Snape, instead, but he just won't return my calls!

I'm not as into Harry Potter as you are, but I understand your pain. It's like when Friends ended and I realized there would never be an episode of Friends I hadn't seen. It was quite painful.

Are you kidding? No one here is going to think you're crazy! If you are, then we all are! :lmao:
