Hey Crystal! I like the white one. It screams "pirate wench" more - I LIKE!!! I'm jealous after looking at these pics (if you know what I mean).

I feel ya about paying someone to make a really good-looking costume. I want to be Pocahontas BAD, but I don't want to be "sexy Pocahontas" or some Pocahontas knockoff - I want to be DISNEY'S Pocahontas. I almost went to see someone about making a costume but I decided to go to HHN for another nite instead.

Well, a kind of sad update about the job I interviewed for today-- I'm a little bit bummed.... because I'm going to havbe to get up really early on Monday if I'm going to make it in for training by 8am!!! (Yay!!!)

I told them about my trip, and they said that since I let them know, it will be fine! I'm so happy! I'll be working for a resort company doing reservations, and I'll be making way more than I was making at my old hotel job. So not only am I going to Disney, I'll actually still be able to afford to eat when I get home!

I stopped at Home Depot today for LGMH's, and found some really cute gel window clings in Halloween shapes for just $2, so I got those to decorate my room windows with. I'll post pics later!

And a question for the people who recommended Body Glide- what aisle would it be in? I looked at both Target & Wal-Mart, and neither place had heard of it. (Apparently, they aren't dis-ers!)

I'm glad I don't start work until Monday- it gives me a few ays to do most of the rest of my trip preparation, since I won't have much time soon! I'll try to update later tonight with pics of my new stuff, and info!

Okay, you have no idea how hard I laughed when I saw this! Not because you used duct tape, but because the one I'm making was bunching up last night, and I decided I needed to reinforce the inside... so I used duct tape! (And part of a wheat thins box!) Great minds think alike!

I just saw body glide at Sports Authority last night. I think any sporting goods store will have it and know what you're talking about. I would imagine "body glide" sounds a little strange to most people!

I may have missed this, but has Kelly told you whether she is coming with you?

I know what you mean about the sexy costumes! Most of the pirate ones I found are either tummy-bearing shirts, or (I kid you not!) made by Playboy! I want to be a pretty pirate, not one that... well... I can't think of a DIS-friendly metaphor!

If I had time, I'd whip you up a Pocahontas! (I even have the perfect shoes!)

Oooh, maybe I should have looked in the sports section! I was looking in the health/pharmacy/stuff section! And yep, I got some funny looks at the name "body glide"- it does sound like something that should be found in..ahem.. a different aisle!

Kelly is *still* up in the air! She did text me the other day to ask if she had to buy park tickets ahead of time, or if she could get them there, which I take as a good sign!

I've purchased Body Glide at 2 different sporting goods store. Last time I even got a fancy kind with sunblock in it. Ooooooooh.

and in case no one has answered your question about the body glide, i got mine at dick's sporting goods. i've never seen it at a walmart or tarjay. so i'd look at a large department store if i were you. if i remember correctly it was right at $10, but that little stick will last you half a lifetime. i've used it on two trips now and i haven't even made a dent!

I am not sure whre you are with where you are staying now (you make my head spin! In a good way!) - but I just read somewhere here on the Dis about this Orbitz special (and I contemplated for about 10 minutes taking a mini trip by myself because it was such a good deal lol) -

Based on your dates, you guys could do 10/28 - 11/2 at Pop for $212.46 (including taxes and fees!). So, split 2 ways - it is about $100 each for 5 nights. That is cheap.
