Finally closed on our house - seller's stuff still inside!

When we bought our house 8 years ago. It was from a older couple.the house was clean.But they cut all the phone lines because back when they put the phone lines in they told them that you are charged by jack in the walls. So all eight rooms had a jack.But none worked and the one in the kitchen wsa pulled right out of the wall.He thought he was going to get a huge bill for the phone company.(because he put the extra jacks in himself)So it took me 3 weeks to get a phone line hooked up in my house. I onlly have one jack that works.In the living room because they would have had to cut into my plaster walls to run the others.
