FINALLY BOOKED THE WISH and Fish Extenders officially back?

Hey all! Just wanted to drop a note that my girlfriend and I will be sailing on the Wish from November 18th to November 21st! Anyone jumping on this sailing? Also, it seems that Fish Extenders are back? How have everyone's experiences been in these new times with that?

Yes DCL removed the wording last week that said FE was not allowed. I'm cruising in 33 days and its actually my first since 2019! I guess I missed all the covid stuff pretty much.

If someone asks what day in their trip would be best for Be Our Guest breakfast, I'm going to advise them to skip it because I consider it a tremendous ripoff, even though that's "not what they asked."

But that's the last I'll say on the matter, I don't want to derail the thread.

Just because the wording banning FEs has been removed doesn't "officially" mean anything. They continue to not be a sanctioned Disney activity and are not 'officially" allowed. Just not officially banned. There's a difference. Let's hope enough people complain about them that they get removed. OR, maybe create an FE deck. Like Deck 2??? Have fun on the Wish. Maybe they don't even HAVE fish (or seahorses) by the doors on the Wish????

No idea. Fish Extenders didn't exist when I cruised, but they do sound pretty tacky.

Just came off the Wonder out of SD and saw only a few rooms with the hanging organizers from the hooks. We were pixie dusted randomly which was nice. We have done a few FE's in the past when our kids were younger and we enjoyed it. Kids were always excited to when something was in them.

Hey gang, just a reminder to keep this thread on track. Not everyone likes all the same things, and while we are all entitled to our opinion, it's not worth getting this thread closed down over. The OP would like experiences of how the FEs are working out now, not how we all feel about them.

I am curious how one would complain officially? does one say I simply dont like looking at them; they "bother" me so other people shouldn't be allowed to do them because it hurts my eyes. ???

Heck even Disney sells "officially" FE hangers as part of the in room gift package.

OP- I can report that for my sailing next week. All FE groups that were originally planned as "let's meet on deck, have a drink and exchange gifts" are now being done old school original FE style. I cannot report from onboard personally though.. Though I know one on the Wonder now and she is reporting they are back and nobody is asked to remove.

On the fantasy now and have see a fair amount of FEs hanging from the stateroom doors. There was one door that even had fairy lights strung with little magnet hooks. It looked so cute.
