Finally booked CRT Lunch!

I followed all the advice on the boards about calling just before 0700, and finally got through! I booked a late lunch on our arrival day for my family of six, including 3 little princesses who will be very surprised! Are a lot of little girls dressed up in princess costumes, like we saw at Cindy's Gala Feast at GF on our last trip? I can't figure out how that would work, as CRT is in the middle of the park, and the "Feast" was at a resort... Do you pack up the dresses and put them on just before your ADR time?

To tell the truth, I don't really care if they dress up, or wear anything they want - We are finally eating in the Castle!!!

That's so exciting! My fiance got us a lunch reservation as well! We've never eaten at the castle and it would be a perfect start to our honeymoon!

Are reservations for lunch just as hard to get as the breakfast times?

It wasn't hard for us at all! We called to schedule our honeymoon in March around 8:00pm for August. My fiance said he was going to at least ask but I assured him that you had to call pretty much at dawn and so many days ahead...blah, blah, blah. Sure enough he came back 15 minutes later with a list of my favorite ADRS and lunch at the castle our first day there. We may have gotten lucky, I have no idea.

I just booked lunch for my DD on her 8th birthday!

We at lunch at the castle on our first trip in May. We were able to get it no problem about 3 months out so it must be easier to get lunch than breakfast. They didn't have any breakfast slots available when I called. To answer your question about the princess dresses, we brought our DD's dress with and left it in a bag in the bottom of our stroller. We just changed her right before. I would say it is pretty split with 1/2 the kids being dressed. Keep in mind, you get a picture package with Cinderella that is included in your purchase price so you might want them in their dresses for that great photo op
