Finally a PB room rate I can live with!

We're staying two nights in June and finally got $199 the first night and $189 the second night! Then it's on to Naples, FL.
I didn't think my APH rate would ever come through. Now I can't wait to stay at Portofino! La Dolce Vita!

Good Rate! I was able to snag a $169 rate for a week from today (5/29) with the free APH upgrade to a bay view.

Hey RyGuy! We'll be there for a week starting next Friday. I'd like to meet the Platinum Upgrade King! We're staying at RPR the 30th and off-site the rest of the week. Who do I see at RPR for the royal treatment?

How do you get an upgrade when booking a standard garden view room at PB. Is it automatic with using your AP. Can I book it online with the upgrade or do I have to call and talk to someone? Also, we don't have AP's right now but with these good rates will order one per room. When we arrive at the hotel does that mean I will have to go over to the kiosks to get our annual pass and regular passes before I can check in and get our keys to do FOTL? How far to get over from PB to the kiosk and which park is it located at?

The upgrade from garden to bay that I got is part of a promotion running this month for passholders. Garden/standard rooms cost the same as water/bay view rooms at all three hotels. Most of the time they forget to ask for the pass but you might want to buy them at AAA or someplace so you can show the exchange voucher at the front desk. They might also allow you to show your pass before you check-out to keep the rate. Others may have more knowledge on this than I do. You can go to either park to get your tickets. I would guess it is about a mile or so from PBH to US and a little farther to IOA. I think Motherfletcher has the exact distances.

Book online using APH in the code box. You'll see that bay view is the same cost as garden view. You don't need the passes at check in as long as you have documentation that says you bought them. I can't remember ever showing the pass at PBH. There are 3 ways to go to the park from PBH. Walk, water taxi, and/or bus. There are kiosks at both parks.
