Finally...A Nonstop from PDX (Portland, OR)!

Alaska Airlines is starting nonstop service from PDX to MCO on Sept. 9th...here's the press release:

I am so excited about this! I know there aren't many of us that live in Oregon on these boards, but I'm sure you and I aren't the only happy people not having to transfer. Wish the new Boston schedule and the Orlando schedule were switched, though. No matter, I have already booked a room at the Hyatt Orland Airport for Sept 24 (morning of the 25) to get some shut eye and freshen up.

We are also going this Spring vacation with our two kids and 4 nieces. Too bad it didn't change sooner. We are taking a put put plane up to Seattle. I will not miss those little turbos!

I just hope Alaska's prices to Orlando decrease some. They are always the most expensive to fly with going down to Orlando.
