FINALLY... 2010 planning!! Who's going?

I just got back from BCR June 5th 2009.

also am planning 2 trips in 2010....
May 2010 Wilderness Lodge (our suprise to grandparents-they will open all things WDW trip related on Xmas this year)
and
Oct 2010 for Food & Wine Fest (adults only trip)


wouldn't that be a nice Xmas present? To open a box with plane tickets, resort info, Birnbaum's 2009 WDW Planning book, a set of Disney Maps (got them in the mail yesterday), a personalized WDW Duffle bag with your name on it, and a personalized WDW park sling (found on disneyshop), and the slings will be filled with essentials for park hopping And that is just for my parents Xmas.
I am planning similar for my lil ones for Xmas plus new clothes for the trip and accesories too of course cuz they are all lil girls. I even got them (when I went in June this year) each their own charm bracelet witht 2 individual charms on each of them that I (eerr Santa) plans to give them. I think they will be suprised. They do not yet know of this trip. They will find out when their Grnadparents do.

I think I am more excited now than they will be when they open thier gifts. I always dreamed of opening a gift like this since I was a young girl. How magical it sounds to me.

That is an awesome gift, they are going to be so excited. What a nice thing for you to do!!

My DBF and I were originally planning for April 2010 but I think we're going to go for May 2010 at POR! I CANNOT WAIT! I've been spending so much time on the Disboards dreaming of our trip!

I finally talked DH into letting me plan our 2nd WDW trip. We went in April during the CrAzY Spring Break season and LOVED it!! We are going back the 2nd week of June 2010!! I cannot wait!! I am thinking about keeping it a secret from the kids. I am really excited about being able to have a long time to plan this trip. Our first trip was planned on short notice. We had a great time but I have learned a lot from it and I know what to make better.

I am going for August 2010. I'm taking my DSis and her kids (and fiance). There will be mabe 8 kids in total in her family at the most (her 15 yr old DD and her son (DSis grandson) who is 1, now live in NY and they may not come) and 6 at the least, (DS's 18,15,6 and DD's (besides the by then 16yo that lives in NY) 8,3 and 1. It will be so far on my end, my 3 kids DD's 17,7 and DS 14.

I usually start planning my trip in March or April but for that many people, I'm starting now.

Well we were going to go in January 2010, but we moved our trip to November 13 - 19, 2010. I am would like to add a couple of days to the trip to go to Universal to see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. On the 13th we will celebrate my oldest son turning 13. As of right now we are planning on staying at the CR in a Tower MK view room.

going back to disney in april 2010 for my HONEYMOON!!!!! i'm so excited about the wedding, but to top it off with a disney honeymoon really just makes the "happily ever after". wedding is friday april 16 - planning to probably arrive in florida sunday april 18th. don't know the exact dates yet and haven't picked a resort yet - trying to decide if grand floridian is worth the splurge!

If you have your heart set on staying at the GF (and it's in the budget) I say go for it. You only get one honeymoon. We went for a cheaper hotel for our honeymoon (eventhough we had the money to stay in a much nicer hotel) and I have wished since then we had spent the money for the nicer hotel. We just celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary. Of course part of our problem was there was a church group that had a national youth convention every four years, and lucky us it was in the same city we were in. Since it was a less expensive hotel there were many of the youth groups staying there. They would run up and down the hall ways, banging on every door as they ran past until late into the night some nights. When we were eating at a Planet Hollywood, they told us there were something like 30,000 there at least for the convention.

We are staying at Bay Lake Tower for 8 nights in February 2010! So excited!!

Also excited about our trip that starts in 7 days!!! (5 nights HRH and 15 at AKV and BWV)!!!! I am addicted!!

I spoke with a friend that works for AAA. She said they are expecting the rates to be released between Aug 15th and Sept 15th. She is going to let me know when she know more.

I'm in on everyone's countdown ! Tonight my DH and I decided to go Oct. 2010 again with my parents. We were at the World Jan. - Feb. 09 so I can't say that we weren't able to make it this year, but that was our WORST trip ever! We were there celebrating my parents 40th Anniv. and stayed at the beautiful AKL only for my mom to come down with Pneumonia and Bronchitis then my DS decided to come down with his worst cold of the season! To top it off.. the weather was freezing and it was a blessing that we brought our winter coats, hats, and mittens from Michigan down with us! So this next trip is to make up for our past trip! So hears to me hoping that this next trip will truly be magical!
