FINALLY... 2010 planning!! Who's going?

Going May15-23rd 2010. Havent picked a hotel yet but thinking on Pop, ASM, CBR and nite or 2 at the Poly

Stayed in the mods twice before not sure how I feel about staying at value hotels

We will be going for our 2nd time as a family in July 2010. We just went in May 2009.

We just went July 11-18, and we've book our first DVC stay June 19-26 at Bay Lake Towers. CANNOT WAIT!!!! (Notice, we're not doing July again. Unless it is the only way necessary, NEVER again!)

We just got our tickets in the mail this week and will be staying at Sandy Ridge Feb 6-13th!! :cloud9: :woohoo:

We are in the early stages of planning for May 2010!!! I am not sure of dates yet but pretty sure I want to stay at BC or YC again. They are my new favorite resorts. Hoping for the same 7 nights for price of 4 deal again this year.:goodvibes

going back to disney in april 2010 for my HONEYMOON!!!!! i'm so excited about the wedding, but to top it off with a disney honeymoon really just makes the "happily ever after". wedding is friday april 16 - planning to probably arrive in florida sunday april 18th. don't know the exact dates yet and haven't picked a resort yet - trying to decide if grand floridian is worth the splurge!
I'd like to add my couple o' pennies since I had a Disneymoon :). The Poly was just beautiful. I was married May 7th the gardenia was blooming. The scent was heavenly. Every time we smell gardenia it brings us right back to the Poly, 21 years later.

Count me in too! Already planning our first Disney Vacation for September 2010! CR 9/17-9/25!!!!!!

Already planning our trip for Sept. 2010:hyper2:. It's to far away but it will be here before we know it. We are trying to decide which resort to stay. When we return it will be my DS (5):donald: 2nd trip and are youngest which will be (2) pluto:first trip.

We are already looking forward to the whole stroller thing, yea!:scared:

So excited:yay:I can now stop living through other people's trip reports and now start obsessing about which park to go to and which restaurant we want to eat at! So many choices so much magic we can not wait:banana:

I have been counting down since last year as we originally planned to go this August but we are being blessed with another addition due in October so we had to post pone to 2010. I mean DH wanted to still go but mommy want to ride Dumbo too. Now, I see that you are a fan of the Polynesian resort? It was a hard decision but we opted for the Contemp Resort. We knew we wanted a monorail hotel for our first visit care to share some insight as to why the Poly is your favorite?

The Polynesian is my favorite for many reasons. One being it's location in comparison to the Magic Kingdom, another being the theme of the resort. It is so tropical and luscious and for once there I actually feel more relaxed on vacation. The transportation from the Polynesian to the Magic Kingdom allows you to pick through a variety of choices such as:

\1/ Resort Monorail (with stops at Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Magic Kingdom, Contemporary Resort, Transportation and Ticket Centre)
\2/ Boat Launches (with stops at Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and the Magic Kingdom)
\3/ Walking distance to the Transportation and Ticket Centre (can take the Epcot monorail to Epcot or the Express monorail to the Magic Kingdom).

Overall, I just love all the walking you can do at the resort also because some of the longhouses are quite close to the lobby and some are not.

Thanks for your input "polynesianlily" the walking descriptions you gave of the the Poly resort will defineately make us come over to see the grounds instead of just enjoying "Ohana" to eat dinner:thumbsup2

I just found these boards, and I can't tell you how happy I am about it! We booked our vacation a couple of months ago, and the excitement is mounting every single day. We're going to the Treehouse Villas in January, and I feel like a little kid all over again! (Jan. 25-29... are we there yet?!) :thumbsup2

We are going March 2010 and can't wait. We will probably return sometime in the fall of 2010 too since I'm hoping the Harry Potter thing will be finished by then and I can go to Universal so....another trip to Disney along with Universal.

I've gotten a quote for AKL & YC with Deluxe Dining for Thanksgiving week! This year my girls get the whole week off for Thanksgiving. I'm banking they will do the same next year, so I will probably officially book it soon!!

I'm soo excited, I LOVE WDW and have never been during the holidays, only been there twice in the summer! I can't wait to see all the holiday decorations!
