Finalizing ADR plans. Should I try for CRT?

Here is what I currently have planned:

Saturday, 9/22 - Arrive around noon, MK, Hoop De Doo @ 5:00 pm
Sunday, 9/23 - Epcot, Coral Reef @ 11:40 am, Les Chefs De France @ 6:00 pm
Monday, 9/24 - REST DAY
Tuesday, 9/25 - AK
Wednesday, 9/26 - MK, Chef Mickey's @ 5:20 pm
Thursday, 9/27 - REST DAY
Friday, 9/28 - MGM, Hollywood and Vine @ 4:40 pm
Saturday, 9/29 - MK, Crystal Palace @ 5:35 pm
Sunday, 9/30 - Drive home

As it stands now, I've got 7 of my 8 TS credits used. I'm debating whether I should try for CRT on one of our MK days. Normally I wouldn't do it because of the price, but with free dining, I'm considering it. We have 3 girls (3, 7, 9) who I think would really enjoy the experience. What do you think?

If I go ahead and I'm able to get CRT, I'd cancel the other ADR for the same day, so I'd have all my credits accounted for. Then the other choice I'd be making is whether to keep 2 TS's at Epcot or cancel one of them and book Boma or Spoodles for dinner on our AK day.

If I don't book CRT, then I'd definitely book Boma or Spoodles for our AK day and the other choice I'd still be thinking about is cancelling one of the Epcot ADR's and making an ADR for one of our rest days.

What do you all think?

i'd be surprised if you had to try hard for CRT (although with the free DDP who knows), but if you want to eat somewhere, then don't let a bunch of opinions on here make a difference. do it. and if you can't get it, don't give up. it took me a couple of weeks, but i managed to get everything i wanted for my trip in may.

We did CRT in 2005 with oldest DD, She was four then and it was unbelievable, I am also debating the same, do I want to use 2 TS for CRT, hmmm, I don't know.......I got an ADR for Cinderella's Gala Feast, CRT had ADR's left so maybe I will flop it who knows!! We had such a great time when we did it last time, DD got the Shoe dessert it was one of her most most vivid memories of the trip! Good luck, post your final decision, let us all know what you decide!!

I say try, what can it hurt? If it helps, I was able to book & change our CRT lunch plans twice for our September trip...this was even AFTER free dining was announced!! Good luck! Have a great trip!

I just called and they had plenty of availability for lunch, but with our party of 7, they said we'd have to be at 2 tables. With 3 adults and 4 kids, this wouldn't work very well if the tables aren't next to each other.

Anyone know what the chances of getting 2 tables next to each other is?

They told me the same thing when I called for August 31 dinner, party of 7 would be 2 tables, do they have larger tables there? I was told no problem but 2 tables.

We had that alot on our December trips, it was 2 tables at the places but they were together or right next to each other.
